I had the exact same situation as Whirlpoolunhappy (the previous review), with the exact opposite outcome: I bought the open-box clearance model for 1/3 the list price. When I got home and read the instructions, I realized it was missing one part - the plastic coupling that connects the heat vent to the back of the dryer. I called whirlpool the day after purchase. They sent out the coupling, free of charge, on 2-day delivery. It arrived 49 hours after my call. The dryer works great, very quiet, and even continues to spin once a minute after done so that clothes don't wrinkle.

I bought floor model since the small size i needed was the last model on the floor. I was told everything was included with it. I got it home and it was missing pieces. Best buys came in 3 times to help me get it going. Best buys service was fantastic but whirlpool was the major problem. Whirlpool was making me pay for the missing pieces at full retail. I was very surprised at this especially after I mentioning that myself and my family sold their products for 30 years in our Ace Hardware Stores in New york. Whirlpool ended up sending me all the wrong pieces and i got fed up and requested Best Buys to give me a refund. Best Buys came through for me and their customer service was fantastic. i don't think i will buy another Whirlpool Product again since they did not work with me to resolve my problem. i hope they read this.
