Bought this to replace a Gibson front-loading unit that failed suddenly. This Whirlpool is much quieter than the former unit. It's BIG! The clothes smell much better than with the prior unit. The automatic sensing level works great and the clothes are getting very clean without an agitator. Our Whirlpool "smart" double oven is anything but smart, so definitely do not miss that feature.

Does not fill enough

They have really gone too far with the high efficiency thing! The machine does not fill far enough to even get the clothes wet. The items on the very bottom of the tub get wet but the top items do not!! I have tried several different settings and none will work. I have tried to wash a couple of blankets in this thing and that is a joke. Also there is no center agitator to turn the clothes over so the bottom clothes get washed but the clothes on top do not even move. the tub has great capacity but if it only fills a couple of inches it is a waste. I hate this machine and will return it if I can.

Can I put zero stars? This washer is trash, and in no way worth the money I spent. I have had this washer for a couple of years...first year was alright, but given the price? Problems too early in my opinion given the price...can't really do large or even medium loads, washer is CONSTANTLY off balance and now the tub is messed up. should I really have to keep opening the lid to reposition the clothes. That wasn't included in the price? you having to manually move the clothes around ? Gears under wash plate are plastic trash and needed to be changed. actuator bad. tech has been out a few times, confirmed this washer is trash (read the negative reviews, and just google this washer) and recommended I buy a different brand. I literally put one sock in and it goes off balance like it's a rocketship taking off. I am staying away from whirlpool. I do not recommend this washer to even my enemies.

The inside is spacious and it cleans great. Recommend making sure to wash the machine every couple months.
