Comes surprisingly well packaged. Looks great and was easy to install. I took it apart to verify the components and was pleased to find that Whirlpool used quality parts and didn't skimp to save a few pennies. Best of all it fit like a glove! The cut out instructions were spot on. You cant go wrong for the quality and price.

I purchased this one to replace my old Whirlpool. The good is the size for right into the countertop, no hassle there. Everything else is more less familiar. The price is reasonable, that never hurts. Here is a wishlist, hoping Whirlpool will improve on: 1. Cleaning, this one is a lot more difficult to clean. Any small oil droplet will show up as a big smudge. 2. Better indication on which switch aligned with which cooktop. The old one layout the switch position as the range, lower left corner point to the lower left range. The new one; however, line up the switch in one straight line and the little white dot next to the switch is not the most clear. I am still trying to get use to it.

What a difference. This unit replaces an old burner element cook top. It was a drop in, rehook up the wires easy replacement. The smooth top is great. The burners heat up so much quicker than my old unit. It is just getting used to the burner adjustments that take some time. It is very easy to clean up any spillage on the smooth surface. I am very happy with this purchase.

This was a great replacement for a 17 year old whirlpool cooktop. The dimensions were the right fit, you can also get slightly more detailed dimensions on their website. Overall it's a little harder to clean, I think from the finish since it has little grooves. But not really an issue. Great product for the price, easy to install.

We just bought a house and we are upgrading appliances, I’ve been looking at this stovetop for a while and i am so glad i found it on sale as a display unit, way cheaper and still in perfect conditions.. i have to say it is not very easy to clean but it looks amazing once installed

I got this from an "open box". The stove top had a scratch. It works fine however the stove top is very hard to keep clean.

Heats up quickly and looks very nice! Also very easy to clean.

My husband & I love this stove. Beautiful! Works perfectly. Easy to clean. The only unlikely comment would be it’s hard to see the markings because everything is black but we’re used to it now so not really big deal.

My stovetop broke and I just needed something simple and inexpensive to replace it. I also like how the knobs are on the side which keep them from getting too dirty. We installed it ourselves and it works well. Stove heats up quickly and is easy to clean. Good product for the price.

It was easy to install, and the design was very good! It has good firepower, and it's very easy to clean

It seems to be working fine. However, the controls are not well marked though I've noticed there is a raised line to help. Also it seems to be very sensitive to any drip of water, splatter of oil or whatever. I never had to be soooo careful trying to clean or polish after every use on my 19 year old cooktop that this replaced. I read the cleaning directions, thank goodness, but after it was only used one or two times it no longer looked shiny and new. Still it was a good value for the money and it fit the existing hole in the counter.

Pretty dark if you're trying to match to black stainless. Knobs are pretty big and the front burner is more towards the middle, which takes some getting used to. Otherwise, it seems to cook evenly and be a good basic cooktop.

Works well. Like the 2 size burner. Easy to clean and care for.

This has turned out to be an outstanding cooktop. I was afraid it would take much longer than a gas cooktop to warm up. No so. It gets hot blazingly fast and does an outstanding job. Highly recommend it.

Overall seems good. It replaces my previous cooktop and it fit my current opening. Only draw back is the black knobs only have indentations instead of white dots which makes it hard to see heat level.l

works great, easy to clean (recommend using cooktop cleaning products). Looks great on the countertop which looks continuous. will need to buy an oven to use under the cooktop.
