Not useable for my microwave and not the same finish even though the serial number was correct. It’s not even metal…it’s plastic with a stainless coating

Wrong Size for our Microwave

There was nothing wrong with the trim kit, but it didn't fit our microwave. That surprised me since I provided the microwave model number, presuming the correct trim kit options would result.

Not a drop-in swap for older 24 inch wide ovens

It looks nice but I am having issues with the microwave door rubbing on the frame as it opens. Maybe its is due to the cabinet width being too narrow, but the oven appears centered in the frame. One thing is for sure, if you are replacing an existing builtin that used the previous standard 24 inch opening this oven and frame will not fit. You will need to rout the opening to at least 25 inches to make it work, and maybe more since I am having this door issue at 25 inches.
