Well I bought it because off it's spacious interior and because it looks great really easy to organize stuff. I never read the reviews tIll after I had bought it. Where people complaing about how it broke quick and made loud weird noises. So about 20 days after I purchased my whirlpool it broke. It made loud noises spoiled all my food in the refrigerator. Wish I would of read the reviews before I made this purchase. So being that it was a sealed system they did not have a technician in my area that could work on it. So I took it back and bought a Samsung the reviews on that said the ice maker would go out. I'd rather my icemaker go out then my fridge I can live without ice for a couple of days till I get it fixed so stay away from this whirlpool

This fridge gets a 4 star rating because it makes tons of ice, keeps things super cold, and has tons of space. The reason for dropping down a star is because the use of all of that space is hampered by an odd stuff set up. If you have more than a couple tall items and have to push the middle shelf in it does not work very well to get the rest of your groceries into the fridge.

So many features for various types of storage from very small items to exceptionally tall items. Whirlpool was recommended by my appliance repair people. They only repair, not sell. That has to say something about the reliability of the product. Our previous refrigerator lasted only six years.

Fridge is very spacious. We have had the evaporator a freeze up after only a month. Was fixed and told that this is a problem with all of these models. Also motherboard is a issue as well. Technician replaced this as well as a precaution. All work was covered by the manufacturers warranty. Now that it's working properly, I am very pleased with it.

We like this huge fridge, but it isn't without its challenges. What we like is 1) it is HUGE (32 cu feet!), 2) the in-door ice maker doesn't take away a lot of space unlike traditional ones, and 3) the interior design is well thought out. Some of the challenges we have are 1) it is HUGE (definitely measure twice to make sure your space supports this, and keep in mind the additional length when opening the doors), 2) the dual ice makers is a great touch, but they are slow, 3) while the inside is well thought out, it is missing a few "traditional" spaces like an obvious spot for butter and 4) you'll have to store some things in the door that you might not want to (e.g., milk). Overall, it is a great fridge with some neat features and a good design, just think about it and make sure it meets your needs.

Very spacious on the inside; you don't have to limit the amount of food that you need to put inside. It cools the fridge and freezer swiftly when you turn it on. There is an energy saving option. The refrigerator doors could close more smoothly like the bottom freezer door.

The fridge is great: spacious, two ice makers, water dispenser, but Best Buy can go fly a kite. I’m never purchasing anything from them again.

This frig offers GREAT space and the price was good also. We had plenty of room in the frig for all the stuff we needed to keep cool. The bad thing was, it kept freezing up. It was a horrible design. The water drain was at the back, near where the cold air would circulate, and the water that collected in the small drain pan (3 inches x 4 inches) would freeze, not only in the pan, but also into the drain hole. This caused the coils to also freeze because moisture could not escape. Whirlpool finally offered to replace the unit, and we got a Kitchen Aid 5 door in its place. It was a much more expensive unit, but honestly, I don't like it. It is smaller and the design of the frig part doesn't allow for as much to be put in it. The freezer section is fine.... similar to the Whirlpool... just doesn't have the extra ice maker.

This was our first Bottom Freezer, have always had side by Side's. Getting use to it, but we have had frosting happening in the Freezer and have had to have Geek Squad out twice to replace parts. It has not frosted over yet since it was repaired again, it has been just over two weeks. It is a Nice refrigerator but for the price I would expect far better quality and performance.

Why didn't I buy this sooner? It has kept my food MUCH better than my old unit. Being 32 cu ft, I had no problem at Thanksgiving with refrigerator space. Even a neighbor asked if I had room for something of hers for a few hours. Great purchase.

Although this refrigerator has great space inside, it does make a lot of noise. An irritating buzz.

We love our fridge. It is really quiet. The only -ve thing that we can say is that, when we close the "magic door in the front", it is noise with a loud click. We love the flexibility of having an extra fridge or a freezer section.

This refrigerator has more space than needed and is very quiet. The unit performs great and is more than what you pay for. Excellent refrigerator.

Started not cooling and not making ice for a while. Then all of a sudden the fridge started making horrible buzzing noise. Not it's not cooling at all. Thankfully we kept our old fridge so we were able to put the spoiling food in there. Also found that whirlpool had done some review manipulation, by having people submit 4-5 star reviews as part of sweepstakes contests. ALL other reviews had only one star and many people said they had multiple multiple repairs and still not fixed. I want a different fridge.

For the first time in 15 + years I have enough space inside unit. Love the LED lighting. Ice maker really surpasses my expectations.

This refridgerator is incredible. There is so much room and a spot for everything. I had a 28 cu/ft side by side refridgerator before I bought this 31 cu/ft French door as a replacement. I never had enough room in the old one. The French door model makes all the difference. I love the bottom freezer.

Fridge was supposedly an excellent condition open box floor model. It had many problems. Top ice maker wasn't producing a lot of ice which we later learned was due to other problems. After a few weeks the top part of fridge stopped cooling and our food spoiled. Freezer worked. Turns out our evaporator unit froze over. Whirlpool came out and ordered a complete assembly unit. They said we had a bad wire and also replaced control board. This fridge is so big when Best Buy delivered they took doors off to get in the house but did not put back correctly which caused right door to be higher than left and would constantly pop open. Whirlpool also fixed the broken part and now our doors stay shut. A few weeks later our water was coming out slow and then had a funny taste. We discovered the filter that came with the fridge was bad. Had that replaced too. Size is nice but we had soooo many problems with fridge I would not recommend. Stay away from this fridge and stay away from open box items. If you heart is set on buying this fridge then buy an extended warranty through Whirlpool not Geek squad as they were not able to fix properly.

DO NOT purchase the refrigerator, as it is an overpriced piece of garbage. 26 months of ownership has resulted in 5 repairs. Do yourself a favor and purchase a different refrigerator from a different manufacturer.
