As Best Buy says, measure everything, from door to kitchen and don’t forget the hallway. Expansive storage and a good price (when I got it on sale). If you think the delivery people will need to remove the doors pick another refrigerator. Runs quiet and you can get the water filters for a reasonable price.

We bought this unit back in April of 2017, finally came about 4-5 weeks later. Fridge was even a huge hit with friends and family all taking notice of how large the unit was and the interior’s space, we call it the “BEAST”. Well.... on Aug 6th we came home from a day trip and went to get some ice, no ice came out. I opened the fridge to a warm incubator. I have a high end kitchen thermometer and put it in the fridge and it read 64 degrees! I pushed the unit away from the wall to a SOAKED floor, not to mention our hardwood floor was soaked and buckled. After two service calls, the unit was declared bad and not repairedable. Unfortunately we had to wait four days to get the GEEK to come out, then they had to send out a Whirlpool Auth Service person as well, both deamed the unit not repairable. THANKFULLY we bought the 5yr Geek Squad Plan. Once deemed not repairable I was able to order the same unit as we love how much space the fridge had. Well, after 8 LONG weeks and no fridge as off today Sept 29th and NO FRIDGE in our house since the first week of AUG (well, we still have the dead unit sitting in out kitchen) and mass amounts of STRESS within our household with children, I went to BEST BUY tonight and worked with BEST BUY to cancel the order as they said there is ZERO signs of when the replacement might show up I left with getting an LG which will be here on Monday. We will lose 2cf, but we can work with that. I grew up in a Whirlpoool household and tried to be faithful to the brand as that’s what I grew up within my childhood home, NEVER again will I buy or reccommend Whirlpool! However, I WILL recommend buying the GEEK SQUAD warrantee and buying from BEST BUY. They staff has been amazing from the initial purchase to me semi losing my patience tonight as the understood my frustration of not have a working fridge in my house since Aug 6th. THANK YOU Store #292 (Jordan and Jared) for being great, you really made this family happy and excited to have a fridge again!!!! We love everything about this refrigerator except the ice maker. It takes several days to fill the ice tray. Forget daily use. If you use a lot of ice, you may want to consider a different refrigerator.

So far this frig is great. Thanksgiving didnt even fill it. Wife loves its space and interior lighting. No frills on the outside but its capacity is great.

The refrigerator is plenty big, quite and having the extra drawer is perfect for the kids! Very happy!

I have nothing but great things to say about the fridge. We bought it as an open box item which saved over a $1000. Installed and within the day switched everything from old fridge to new. Once everything was moved over we realized we still had a ton of room for anything we wanted to out in there. One of the best investments that I have bought would highly suggest this fridge to be your next.

Whirlpool - 32 Cu. Ft. Wide French Door will prove to be the best yet. Excellent quality construction.

Great space however it has a sound that is pretty hard to block out.

This fridge is huge! Make sure you measure twice before buying! But it is perfect for entertaining and holding lots of food! I love the double ice maker.

This is a great fridge. So accessible and roomy. No more cramming stuff in narrow shelves and then trying to hunt down stuff.

We looked at a TON of fridges, this one has all of the space we need and looks great! It is bigger then most, make sure you measure before purchasing.

We wanted a large refrigerator to replace the one that died on us. We knew this was one of the largest we could fit in our available space, but when we got it home and loaded it with our food it looked like it was empty!

Bought mine soon as I moved in my house. Lasted for two months and stopped making ice. Then stopped cooling entirely. I went up and down with customer support. Someone finally came out and diagnosed it and they did that wrong. The. Another tech came out and got the right part on order and got it repaired. Everything was fine for about 5 months. Now the fridge is not getting cold enough and the freezer is not freezing the food 100 percent. I would stay away from this money pit.

We love the capacity and it looks great, but we are now waiting for the 5th service call (days away) in the first year of owning this refrigerator because it's not cooling. It's the same problem and we've lost lots of food every time. The issue begins with ice production slowing, eventually no ice being made, cooling fan noise increases, temperature rises over time and food begins to spoil as temps reach 50 degrees. You don't realize this unless you place a thermometer inside the unit. Customer service has been nice but after spending hours on hold and now waiting for a week before the technician can get here, with a unit that doesn't cool... That's not cool. We moved the remaining food into our spare fridge in the garage. Other than looking nice and having a functional layout with great capacity, this Whirlpool fridge doesn't work... We've noticed that it freezes inside then defrosts and leaks everywhere. How many times does this have to happen before we have a dependable unit? Well, after missing days of work for service calls, late nights moving food into the spare fridge, cleaning up from the unit "defrosting," and all the calls to customer service... Not happy.

First week of May 2017 - great deal on out of box. Plenty of room. No strange sounds like other reviews but have had Geek Squad come out 3 times. On third freezer seal, slide tracks replaced (not sure needed). Then they said they will order new freezer door but forgot to order new seal. No matter since Best Buy has now okayed a full refund all because freezer seal gaps and gets ice build-up to the point you can't open freezer door without using 2 hands and several hard jerking pulls.

This fridge has a manufacturing defect that causes the refrigerator to not go through the defrost cycle. My refrigerator went bad in less than 2 months , the service technician called whirlpool and they identified the issue right away as this seems to be an escaped manufacturer defect for this model. So I have no refrigerator for 2 weeks and the customer service for whirlpool was awful. They have no weekend support, gave me a service appointment 8 days after my fridge broke down, had to fight them to get authorization code for a certified technician to come and look at it sooner, then now finally another week and a half wait for the replacement part. When I called them, they said they could have overnighted the part but cannot do that now the service technician already placed the order. Search other reviews in Amazon and you can see other people with same complaint. So unless you don't mind spending couple weeks without a refrigerator right after you buy it, I don't recommend buying this.

This is the worst refrigerator money can buy! I read the reviews before purchasing it but there were only a couple and no major negatives. I bought it because of space, I needed a bigger refrigerator and also wanted to dedicate the freezer space to breastmilk for my new baby. Initial installation went so wrong, the doors were not leveled (Installation issue) and it was making a loud noise (product issue). All my food was spoiled, Best Buy claimed they will reimburse us for that, still waiting and its been 6 months. They brought another one and its been crazy, first, ice maker stopped working, then extremely loud noise inside the refrigerator, like it will blow up so we had to turn it off. Geek squad can't make it until Friday (3 days out) so now I have a refrigerator full of food that has gone bad again, I'm just so angry. Please, don't buy, its a complete waste of money.

We have owned this refrigerator for one month and it was great at first, but this morning we woke up to it making a high pitched whirling sound and everything in the refrigerator was warm. Whirlpool is coming out tomorrow. Not happy!

On December 3, 2016 this refrigerator was installed in our new home along with all other Whirlpool appliances. Early March 2017 I noticed water leak on the floor and found lots of water and ice build up above the freezer chest and bottom drawer's cavity. Whirlpool appointed technician made 3 visits but unable to rectify the problem. After the 3rd visit there is no water and ice at all but humming sound when refrigerator turns on!! Today is the last day of March and Audrey, Whirlpool customer relations leader is avoiding my calls. Please save your hassle and money.
