Thete is much more space than our old refrigerator and I like the water and ice dispensers as they are separate. The black stainless steel is beautiful.

Plenty of space for everything and as it does not have dozens of bells and whistles, there is less to breakdown.

I wish there was more adjustment for shelving in the refrigerator side. The paddle that you place drinking glass against to get ice is too slick. The glass will slide off of it and cause ice to spill. Stiil if is like my last Whirlpool refrigerator I anticipate it will run a long time with minimal service.

It is almost identical to my old one, which I really liked. My former refrigerator (same style; different manufacturer) lasted from January, 2001 up until February, 2023. It had never needed repair. I hope this refrigerator can live up to the longevity and dependability of my former one, (in which the freezer does not freeze anymore, but the refrigerator still works)!

Called to see what we could do. Was told whirlpool wants to handle their own appliance so a tech guy was sent out 30 days later. Said we needed a new control board. It’s been on back order almost two months. Refrigerator has gone out several times to where our food would be ruined. So we have a brand new fridge that we are paying twice per month on and no ice maker and it cools when it wants to. I’m currently on the phone now with whirlpool and solar appliance trying to see how much longer on the part.

The ice maker bin is not in the door, is large and is easy to remove when freezer door can not be opened wide because of door jamb.. Con: Water dispenser gives room temperature water, not chilled.
