As some have stated the washer is a bit on the louder side when spinning but that is due to the direct drive. I used to think people were crazy when they said their clothes were cleaner due to a new machine. I see why now and it was completely unexpected. This was my first purchase of a brand new front loader and no complaints so far. As a precaution I leave the door open after use so no idea if there is an issue with mildew.

This washer is SO much quieter than my last one. When the water fills up the drum, it is a little loud, but the minimal noise during the rest of the wash makes up for it. I don’t have to turn our tv up or close the washroom off anymore because of it. It has been installed for over a week and am super pleased. It even gets stains out with the presoak settings.

Love the quiet washer that does a great job cleaning

I purchased Whirlpool 11-cycle Front-Load Washer after my Samsung washer could not be fixed. Once I learned how to use all the cycles, it stands up to the Samsung washer. I love that it doesn't take as much time to wash a load of clothes and love the extra features it offers. We purchased this washer on sale and for the price, there are a lot of cycles and features.

I am happy with my decision to go with the Whirlpool brand. The only complaint about the washer is it is a bit loud.

This will be my second washer in recent days; first purchase was a Made in USA top-loader, disappointed because of the following: lint left on clothing, in addition to having wrinkled clothing in the process! never an issue with front-loaders due to its ability to have wrinkle release. Don't realize a good thing once you have it in hand. SO, after five loads, promptly went back to Best Buy, and without any hassling from their staff, transition was smooth in exchanging one product out for a second. OUT with the top-loader, and BACK with another Made in USA front loader washing machine. So far, outside of unit being a bit noisy, everything has been great!

We have used front loading for years. We decided to try out top loaders, and after 2 days returned them. Terrible job of cleaning clothes. THen we went back to this Front Loading type and we were amazed at how much cleaner these newer machines got our clothes. Even much cleaner than our old Front Loading set.

Just love the easy features of this machine. First front loader. Much less water usage and my dryer doesn't run as long due to spin dry efficiency. The color is sleek too. Not too noisy and love the sounds it makes to notify. Love to wash clothes with my new washer.

I decided to go with the less expensive Whirlpool washer based on previous experience with the brand, hoping it would work as well as the other more popular brands. So far I have not been disappointed. Clothes come out clean and nearly dry. I really like the steam function for sanitizing sheets and towels.

Washes my clothes as good or better than a commercial washer! Do have to use a special soap and detergent.

Whirlpool is an appliance company that makes rock solid machines that work great and last a long time. They also happen to look great and incorporate electronic wizardry, but the clothes washing expertise shines through first. This machine washes with less water and less wear on clothes than any we've ever had. Definitely recommend.

I love this washer, I am able to sanitize baby clothes linens etc
