Great machine and has large capacity for to wash everything for the whole family. Love the removeable agitator so I can wash bulky things like blankets and extra thick extra large towels. It's been over a month and no issues. It's actually a bit quieter than our old unit of the same brand that's 10 years old.

This is a great washer. My favorite feature is the removable agitator. When it is in, with a deep water wash, it really gets clothes clean. When you want to do large loads, blankets, or comforters, just take the agitator out. If you use fabric softener, it uses weird little Downy balls instead of having a port to fill. But that's not really a big deal. It is a great washer.

Clean well. Haven't used all the setting yet but for large loads you should use the deep cleaning option. A little louder than my previous LG, but I will take cleaner clothes anyday over a louder spin cycle.

I'm still getting used to my new washer. It replaced a Maytag that performed well for 25+ years, which was not an he washer. I'm not sure I like that you put the detergent in the empty barrel 1st then the clothes and the water isn't added until the machine starts & the lid is locked. It all seems so foreign to me. Overall it seems to get the clothes clean so purpose achieved. I do love the removable center agitator!

Cleans clothes very well. I missed having an agitator. Runs quiet.

Great machine…Highly recommend Whirlpool. Huge inside space & even better for Extra large load (bedding) when can remove agitator. Great idea. Had prior Whirlpool washer & dryer for ‘30 years’ was still working great but like the removable agitator so bought this one…& a Whirlpool dryer too. Terrific machines !

Originally had purchased the 5.3 cu ft top load washer, but it was taking awhile for it to get it. Ordered this one instead and am quite pleased with its size and washing ability up to this point. Having the removable agitator is a nice feature for those bulkier items like a comforter.

Great large capacity washer. The removable agitator seems like a good feature, but in our first month of use, we haven’t had a need to remove it. It would be nice if it showed remaining time left in the cycle.

Very pleased with this purchase. Have used 3-4 times per week for six weeks. Washer has many great features including large capacity, stainless steel inside, multiple wash cycles and washing options. Really appreciate the removable agitator. I can finally get the king-sized mattress pad or comforter into the washer with no concern of it getting snagged.

I have been more than happy with my new washer! The ability to remove the agitator is very helpful with big bulky loads.

I highly recommend getting a Wirlpool 4.7-4.8 cu.ft. High Efficiency /top load washer with a removable agitator. It's the best washing machine . I love the water faucet in the washer and i love the removable agitator,when i wash my comforters .It cleans my clothes great. I recommend this Whirlpool Washing machine .

Good, versatile washing machine that cleans the clothes well. Slightly louder than our last washing machine but not a real issue.

This item is the best purchased I made it has self cleaning and a lot of options to wash from its detergent sheet friendly it leaves no residue it cleans and makes my clothes clean for days.

So far, performs as promised. No dispensor for liquid fabric softner. Might bother some, but I use dryer sheets so no big deal for me. Longer wash cycle than older washer but old one was almost 24 years old. What can I say, it washes the clothes, not an exciting experience. Best feature is removable agitator for larger items such as blankets, etc.

I originally wanted a different washer but ended up with this set. I am so glad I purchased this. I love the size and the fact I can remove the agitator if I want to fit a king size quilt. I also love that it spins the clothes pretty dry which uses less gas for the dryer.

I'm very happy with my new washing machine, I love the removable agitator, I love the glass top, I can watch the clothes wash. sounds crazy but I love it. The machine tells me which cycle it is on. Love It

Revised review from previous one STAR review - which seems to have vanished. Bought this SMART washer in April 2023 to replace a 22-year old DUMB Whirlpool clothes washer which had been a rock during its lifetime. The SMART washer died after 11 weeks and it then took 2 months to get it diagnosed, parts order and the repair completed. Had to pay $110/month for a rental in the interim. Whirlpool warranty folks were very helpful in the process and I was lucky to have an excellent local appliance store which could handle the repair. Today, I am back in business. However, my advice remains, buy a OLD DUMB washer if you can find one. I have no idea why you need multiple circuit boards for hot/cold/warm wash/rinse/drain.

Went back to a top loader and am very happy. Holds a lot and I like the removable agitator. Lots of optional cycles too. Best buys price including delivery and take a way was better.
