Purchased after my old one of 21yrs stopped working. The technology one the new washer is good but I agitator doesnt work like the old one in terms of really turning over clothes to clean (and I know to use the appropriate level of clothes). The old washer also held the clean scent of the laundry detergent and the clothes came out smelling very fresh! Not so much with this new washer. The washer does wash and basically clean your clothes but it does not hold freshness. Also the water level needs to be always set on max fill in order for your clothes to agitate properly. I do like the “quick” wash feature as it comes in handy when the kids uniforms need washing same day!

Purchased & installed less than 6 weeks ago. Started a load of laundry and then left to run an errand. Come home after an hour and whole laundry room, mud room, hallway were flooded. Only to then realize the water got into duct work and went through the ceiling into my basement. All hoses were hooked up and back of washer was bone dry, water shooting out sides between sheet metal and bottom, just kept running. Took 5 phone calls to Best Buy to talk to a human. Then told they’d expedite to a supervisor as there was nothing they could do but I should get a call with 24-48 hours. Still no phone call but did get a survey about my interaction with Customer Service who logged my original complaint. Their A.I. agent told me to contact Whirlpool since they were responsible for the factory warranty. So another 90 minutes of my life gone between being out on hold and passed through 3 different associates. The resolution? They scheduled a repair with a local company who can’t “evaluate” the machine for 10 days. They provided 3rd party repair contact number to see if I could do better. So I called Best Buy again tonight 2.5 days later and again told nothing they could do but a supervisor will contact me within 24 hours to discuss. So here I am with a brand new (6 week) broken washing machine that flooded numerous rooms in my house that’s taken hours to clean and days to dry out and told to wait 10 days for an evaluation/repair. No sense of urgency…unacceptable!

This Whirlpool - 5.2 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer is a very good washer so far. We have had it a little over a month (bought 2/11/23). With the removable agitator it is versatile to accommodate what you want to wash. So far no out of balance loads big or small. We originally bought a GE same size, but it went out of balance on every other load. So returned it and got this one, so glad we did. This washer is very quiet when running, doesn't move around, has a end of cycle beep, and wi-fi. Lots of load choices. Very happy with this, and seems to be a solid purchase. I recommend it!!

I love the size and the ability to remove the agitator. Being able to load and go the laundry soap is something i didnt think i needed or use but discovered i love this feature. It saves time and money. The only drawback is i am not sure how to add color or white saving products such as clorox color brightener or Out White Brite.

Haven't had our new washer & dryer 1 week yet, but so far thoroughly impressed. Large capacity, feature-rich, relatively quiet operation. Best Buy store team was super knowledgable. Best Buy delivery team was on-time, professional, and all-around awesome!

Washes great. Like that I have option to use or take agitator out. Reminder to clean washer. Very happy with my purchase.

Finally, a washer that I absolutely love and feel actually does a great job washing and gets the clothes clean. Great overall washer, East to connect WiFi, easy washer set up and removal of agitator. I have owned this washer for approximately 1 month. It immediately outperformed my previous 2 1/2 year old Maytag that broke beyond repair about a month ago. In the past month, I have put this washer to the test and have washed everything from small loads, normal loads, large loads of clothes and even large loads with sheets and towels. I have even washed a couple big bulky x-large loads with king comforter and a load with blankets. This washer cleans like the older washers used to clean. I highly recommend this washer for anyone in the market for a new washer.

Effective, Efficient, Quiet, Easy to Operate, Very Nice Appealing Looks.

So far works great! Its only been 1 week. Has removable agitator. Absolutely love the load and go soap! Would be great if they made one for the fabric softener. Had the same washer, just smaller capacity. This one definitely handles comfortors and rugs much better than the smaller capacity. It does make a humming or whining sound when washing that my recent model didn't, according to whirlpool forums, thats normal on newer models. However, it spins things to almost dry! Much better than my smaller capacity previous model Whirlpool washer.

The Whirlpool washer works reasonably well for everyday loads and has a straightforward, user-friendly design. It gets the job done, but the performance feels pretty standard—not exceptional. Some cycles take longer than expected, and the cleaning power is decent but not impressive. Overall, it’s a reliable, average washer that meets basic needs without standing out

The washing machine is great overall. It has plenty of space and works perfectly. It’s a bit loud at times and quite large, so keep that in mind if space is limited. The online features are nice to have, but not really essential.

So far so good. I had just come from a front loading washer and it broke within a few months. There so expensive to fix and the realibilty of front loaders is bad for a reason. I wanted to go back to a top loading washer but not ones that weren't HE. There weren't many choices out there as most top loaders use a lot of water and aren't HE. I was looking for a top loader that didn't use a lot of water and was HE. I stumbled upon this one after a lot of research and bit the bullet. Plus having a removable agitator is a plus. It works as advertised. It's the top loading washer that's an upgrade from the future of the water gullzers from the past. My water and electric bill have dropped, its got a huge tube so I can wash giant loads all at once which saves on electricity and water, and it has wifi so can keep an eye on when the loads are washing. It's feature packed and works well. The only thing I've had a issue with is using it without the agitator. It bounces around and doesn't work well. But it works just fine with it. Just make sure you balance your loads. Make sure the things you are washing aren't on the agitator. Push everything away from the center. I've had it over a year and haven't had any issues so far!

The washing machine is easy to use and supports large items. Convenient water spigot to assist with stains items is very useful. Like the option to remove agitator for some larger items.

Loved my old washing machine but its time had come. Liked what I saw from this model so I picked up the washer/dryer combo during a sale and have been very impressed. The removable agitator gives options that you wouldn't normally have. Operation is easy, cleaning has been great, and it runs very quietly. There are smart features with an app or something, but I have never felt the need to install or use them.

I purchased this washer because it checked the box for every bell and whistle I wanted: - see-through lid - prewash water dispenser - overfill capability - removable agitator - large size for when I need to do my comforters and pillows Everything is great in these respects. All the bells and whistles really make a difference. Keep in mind that washes may take more time than your previous washer though it has a "quick wash" option that I haven't tried it. Regular washes for me take over an hour. The washer is fully automatic in that you don 't specify the size of your load. The washer spends a few minutes "sensing" the size for you so certainly increases the ease-of-use.
