For the cost this is a very good dryer. Used to have to wait for a dryer load to finish after my washer was finished, now I'm waiting on the washer as the dryer is fast! Capacity is good and I like having the lint collector on top rather inside the tub. You can crack the door slightly and not have the light come on which helps with bulb life. You have to slam the door to get it closed, perhaps that will loosen up after more use? Also, only high/medium/low temperature settings with no delicate (which bothers my daughter more than myself).

This Whirlpool clothes dryer gets clothes reasonably dry in a reasonable time. It doesn't have a moisture sensor, but it does have a way of making a good approximation of how long it will take the clothes to dry (assuming I don't use the setting for the dryer to be on a specified number of minutes). When I use the setting that the dryer estimates how long it should run to dry the clothes (which I understand is based on their weight), the dryer automatically tumble dries the clothes with no heat for the last ten or so minutes. That saves energy and results in the clothes not being hot when I take them out of the dryer. Perhaps not having a moisture sensor is a good thing. My old dryer had a moisture sensor that didn't always work. Sometimes, it would run for hours without noticing that the clothes were already dry. The clothes would be really hot when I stopped the dryer, and I'm lucky that the moisture sensor malfunction didn't cause a fire.

It's a great dryer, huge inside, runs quiet and all the settings are what we wanted, except for the missing option to turn the wrinkle shield on or off like the same older model - basic and works great, love it. We have a bunch of kids so it's necessary to have a big dryer that's energy efficient and runs well - this dryer fits the bill and Best Buy was the best price we could find on any dryer, let alone a Whirlpool. They delivered it and we installed it ourselves.

Nice quiet and efficient machine. Very roomy, holds a lot of clothes. The features it has are nice without a bunch of stuff you don't need.

I purchased this dryer when the one that came with my house died. This dryer is easy load and easy to use. I enjoy the feature that shuts off the dryer when clothes are dry instead of over drying them. Great for large loads such as comforters.

I bought this dryer as a replacement for my Duet--it died after only 7 years; I didn't want to spend that kind of money again. I've only had it for about a month, but this dryer does a great job of drying clothes (and quickly). The only drawbacks are that it's noticeably louder and the door is tough to open. Otherwise, I hope to get many years of service from it...

Previous dryer a Whirlpool (last nearly twenty years) . This dryer a sleeker look and easy to use. Quiet tumble states the lady of the house. She states she loves the eco of it. And of course the Best Buy price was unmatched anywhere in town or out of town!!

Great dryer loaded with options, dries clothes quickly and quietly. We wash and dry 4 to 5 loads a day and we need a dryer to keep up the pace and get our clothes dry quickly for the next load. We load this dryer up with big loads and it does a solid job.

This dryer has a good variety of cycles & a pretty large capacity. The downside = the lint trap is on top of the dryer! You have to pull it up and out of the dryer & I wind up showering my laundry room in fuzz, cat hair, and lint.

It works great. I like the large capacity. We LOVE that it has an on/off switch for the buzzer. Not a fan of the location of lint trap. It leaves lint/hair all over the top of the dryer.

This was bought at a replacement and has done a great job. It is well made, quite and has a lot of features for a dryer priced in this price range. We are very happy with it.

Shopped several stores before we decided on this dryer. Very pleased. Large capacity makes drying clothes more efficent and faster. Overall Quality dryer for the money. You can pay more, but this one will do the job.

I love everything about this product our last dryer took 2 cycles to dry the same amount of clothes that this one only needs one. The door that latches it shut though seems a little cheap hopefully it won't break.

I really needed this dryer and I love it. I no longer have to run the dryer 2 times (or more) to dry. This one works great for me. I use it daily. It's very roomy inside; way larger than my previous one.

I love this dryer. It has 13 different settings and the clothes come out great every time. I love the Wrinkle Shield option too. This is such a great value for your money.

replaced my 15 year old dryer, this dryer was quiet and faster than my last one! I had best buy deliver, install, and haul away old dryer.

The dryer works wonderfully and it dries quickly. You can choose between temperatures and settings. For a simple, no frills dryer, this one is wonderful. The only downfall that I can see is that the feet to help balance the machine are a bit short and I had to shim the one corner to balance on my uneven basement floor. If you want an economical dryer to get the job done, this one is probably your best bet.
