OK EXCEPT NOISY. HARD TO BELIEVE A NEW PRODUCT CAN HAVE THIS NOISE LEVEL

More cycles than I need, love the end of cycle buzzer. with the new washer i bought, that wrings out clothes well before i put them into the dryer, drying time is cut in half compared to my old dryer.

Bought this to replace a dryer that was 47 years old! Let's see if the new can stand up to the old. Has great features for the price and so far even a full load of towels is fully dry on just one cycle. Very happy with it. I would like to expand on the review regarding the installers. I agree the customer should have been made aware, that is definitely a communication failure one BBs part. Just FYI for anybody looking to upgrade a gas appliance though. None of the major retailers will tamper with existing gas lines (in my area anyway). That includes something as simple as adding a connector.

This is a great dryer Here’s the bottom line. Don’t hesitate to purchase this dryer. I have had many dryers and this one is a very good dryer for the price. Many people will get sidetracked by other dryers that have more “bells & whistles”. You don’t need them. Now that I have owned the Whirlpool gas dryer for about a month I couldn’t be happier and I am not an easy person to please. Here is what I love about this dryer. Large capacity Permanent press clothes all come out very nice. You can dry large loads of heavy towels in half the time of an electric dryer. I use much less fabric softener in the wash. Personally I like the “hamper” style door. It opens down so you can put your laundry basket on top and fold the clothes right out of the dryer. The buzzer that signifies end of cycle is a bit loud, but you can choose to not use it and just set another timer. I can dry a small load of permanent press clothes and they still come out fine. Not all wrinkled together like my last dryer did.

I love my new dryer everything I wanted in a Traditional Dryer.

We love the new Samsung washer and dryer. Much more quiet than other units. also less vibration. the automoatic settings make it easy to get the correct temperature, etc.

Great gas dryer for the price. Love the buzzer option.

The only problem is we live in the country; therefore we have propane. We were told at the store all whirlpools have a gas/propane conversion kit included. Gas guy could not find the kit so he had to go buy one to finish installing the dryer. EXTRA cost for the gas guys time and parts.... If you need to convert get the kit before you walk out of the store.

If you are replacing an older machine (in our case the dryer was 15-20yrs old) there may be an older style connector on your gas line. Best Buy installers do not replace/update gas line connectors. They left the uninstalled machine in our basement and informed us that we would have to find our own installer to take care of the connector....they would be happy to come back and finish the installation but wouldn't an installer capable of replacing the connector be capable of completing the install and saving me taking an additional day off work? Will likely be happy with the machine when I can get it installed and functioning. Very disappointed in the sales staff for not pre-warning of the potential for this situation (I did tell sales person how old my original dryer was and this did not seem to offer a red flag to him). I spoke with the department manager who apologized and will work to make future customers aware, but nothing he can do for me at this point. This will be the one and only appliance I purchase from Best Buy in my lifetime, it is worth it to me to spend more somewhere else and have truly professional installers who won't be thrown by a connector.

Works real good....You should go buy one its a good deal lots of room for a big load..

So far, it working great. If it wasn't for the rather loud background hum and a little higher price than I expected, I would have given it five stars.
