I honestly wouldn't give any stars if possible. This machine is not getting our clothes clean AT ALL.

Since its a brand new version of a washer it uses less water

I think that's unacceptable. It may be time to give a different brand a chance. I am unfortunately limited to smaller, front loading machines because my door openings are 27". Standard sized machines are 27". Ugh.

This washer has no power to speak of. I have to wash all loads on the "deep water, Heavy soil" settings. Clothes never smell fresh.

I was very displeased with the performance of this machine. It would not put enough water in the tub to get the clothes wet so therefore the clothes would not get clean.

I bought this on-line on Black Friday (along with the dryer) so without seeing it, I wasn't sure if I would like it. This is the best washer we have owned in 20 years! It's quiet, efficient and the clothes come out super clean. The wash cycle is longer but makes it up with less time in the dryer. I am old school so I was a little hesitant about no agitator; but like I said earlier, the clothes come out super clean. One caution is that because the spin cycle is so fast, the clothes get tangled, so you have to make sure you separate/untangle them when putting them in the dryer. Otherwise, awesome machine.

I personally have not had any problems with this item yet. The only thing that has happened sometimes the washer gets off balanced during a cycle and the basket will slam against the sides of the washer. Which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Other than that it's a great product.

My boyfriend purchased this washer for me because my 12 year old LG washer started leaking. We got a good deal on it and the people at Best Buy were amazing! It was delivered and set-up with no issue. I noticed almost from the beginning that the washer used much less water than I felt would clean the clothes. I also noticed that the clothes didn't seem as clean and there was a lot of lint stuck on the clothing. I had a couple blouses with embellishments which were now missing from the fabric. I had a thin sleep shirt which now had a hole in it. One last thing is that when I put in several towels to wash, the tub bounced around like mad and was very loud! I almost thought it would poke a hole in the side of the machine! I'm guessing I will try the deep-water option next time. My clothes were much more twisted when I tried to get them out. Not thrilled.

Simply put, the machine does the job and it does it well. It's easy to use even thought it has so many options.

We have had the Cabrio for 4 years. My husband replaced the bearings a year ago, the machine sounded like a jet taking off and was constantly getting out of balance and shutting off. He is extremely handy and an experienced diy-er. Replacing the bearings was a bear, it took him 2 days. It worked fine for a year and now the jet is taking off again. This washing machine is junk, it doesn't properly fill to clean clothing, and it agitates clothes into a twisted mess if anything long is in the load. We also have a whirlpool fridge less than 5 years old that needs the thermostat replaced. I would say go with a Kenmore and avoid Whirlpool!

About one month after purchasing this washer, something fell on it and broke the glass top. Since this is not covered under my service agreement I will have to replace the top at my expense. The cost for this is more than what I paid for the washer. For this reason, I would not recommend this to a friend. I recommend the DEEP WATER WASH cycle to customers complaining about the small amount of water when washing.

this is the worse washing machine EVER! it doesnt fill with enough water and therefore doesnt get your clothes clean. you will have stuff come out dry!!! I am not kidding totally dry. in the manual they claim thats what "water saving" washing machines do. thats a joke! your clothes wont get clean if they never get wet!!!! please please take my advice dont buy this. I believed the reviews here on the best buy site so I bought it but search the internet everyone gives it one star. I dont know how anyone can think its a good product. Sad thing is mines only 2 weeks old and i already hate it.

At first I loved this washer & dryer, because I only washed towels & blankets; which worked great. But last night was my first time washing clothes and I followed the instructions in the book telling me which is the correct cycle to put it on, when I pulled my clothes out of the washer, they were extremely wrinkled, (which sucks because I hang dry must of my clothes), my $50 tank top I just bought, that was perfectly fine had a strap ripped off (there goes $50 for nothing), I also had a shirt that had jewels on them & about a handful came off the shirt, my slacks & cardigans because extremely fuzzy, oh & two of my pants got ripped so i'm pretty angry I just got 3 items of clothes! Stupid washer! Returning asap!

I do not like the loud grinding pulsating noise that this machine makes. I have only done 6 loads of laundry and am still trying out the different settings, but so far all the my clothes have come out greatly wrinkled.

I was just told by the serviceman that the motor is out on my 3 year old Cabrio. And that is without usage for 4 to 6 months each year. No appliance should have a motor go out in that length of time. I have been a 40 year user of Whirlpool products but this shall be my last one.
