My old washer died. Being strapped for cash but unwilling to go the laundromat route, this washer fit the bill. It was priced right, energy efficient and it does the job. It makes a weird (i.e. not what I'm used to) sound while it does its thing but that doesn't mean much to me. I'm satisfied with it so far, and I''ve used it maybe 25 times. I even fit a giant quilt into it and on deep water wash, it came out nice and clean. The delivery guy was timely, awesome and efficient.

I purchased as a floor model, just a tiny dent, and got an excellent deal. Great washing machine one you get used to it. Cleans the clothes very well.

It's a great washer. Energy star complicate. A good value. No problems. Cleans better than other high efficiency washers that friends and family have.

This was a short notice replacement purchase and my choice was limited. I was interested in the cleaning, as it does not have an agitator, but the performance is great! Whirlpool is always a first choice for me in appliances and so far this choice has not disappointed?

I am busy. My clothes get dirty. This machine takes care of the work clothes and the bed sheets with a click of the knob. Forgot to change over to dryer? No problem! The cycle keeps the clothes fresh for up to 48 hours, by experience, because we all accidentally forget to change over every now and then.

I purchase this high efficiency washer and I am still unsure about it. It washes well but clothes come out really wrinkled. There is no buzzer to indicate when the cycle is done and no dispenser for fabric softener. You must use one of those balls because timing it is a joke. No agitator is no big deal, although you still have to put the clothes around the edges and not cover up the middle. I could live with the fabric softener ball, the buzzer is a little annoying as my old machine had one and I found it quit useful. This wrinkle issue I am figuring out. I am washing the stuff I want to hang dry separately, putting in the dryer for 10 minutes and then hanging dry. It really helps. Just not sure it's worth it for the high efficiency. The rebates are nice though and allowed us the matching dryer. No one told me the down side to this new washer, I just thought I would share. I don't really think its worth the hassle of returning it.

I would say that this is a very good no thrills washer. It is energy efficient and an HE model.

I like this washer for the huge drum, I needed that for large loads and King size comforters. However, if you are not used to the water efficient type washers, it will seem loud because it is louder than a normal washer. It does have a deep water setting for when you want it to use more water but otherwise its a water saver using very little water. It does clean well and there is no agitator in the middle making it easy to wash larger items as I mentioned. I gave 4 stars because of the noise level.

My wife and I came in to buy a lesser washer dryer combo but elected to choose this model. We had no idea how a high efficiency washer worked. The sales person didn't explain much except that it didn't have a regular agitator. I looked it up on u-tube and I was amazed. It uses very little water and only has a very tiny agitator at the bottom of the tub. It uses a sort of jet action as well so you get that squirting kind of noise. All I know is that it really gets the clothes clean and uses very little water. You do have to use high energy (HE) soap but a small amount and it costs no more than regular soap. We are very pleased that we chose this machine.

I purchased this particiular machine because I did not want a central aggitator, but with a large capacity drum. All the reviews I read made me confused. Did not want huge tubs for me to use a step stool to empty,(5'1"). And did not want all computorized system that can break easily and costly to fix. This was perfect for me. Cloths come out clean. Noise isn't any louder than the machine of 20 yrs I just replaced. And washing time was average. Easy to use, does the job.... no complaints thus far. Very pleased. Average user.

I bought this as a close out based on other good reviews. I have only done about 8 loads of laundry, but seems to do the job.

Very nice machine, but because of the way it is designed, it takes forever (or at least it seems that way) from the time you load it and close the lid until the thing actually starts working. This is supposedly because it has to "figure out" the wight of the load, water to clothes ratio, how far it is to Mars from its particular location, etc. Other than that, it does an OK job. I would recommend it to someone on a budget who has plenty of time to do their laundry. My fix was: load clothes at the beginning of the game, watch 1st half, move clothes to dryer at halftime, and add 2nd load, then watch rest of the game and repeat during post-game show. :)

This washer is great. We specifically wanted a whirlpool bc they've been around and have a good reputation. I love the water sensor feature, don't have to choose load size anymore, it automatically will fill just enough to wash; saving us on our water bill. It's quiet and washes clothes so much better than our hand-me-down old washer...stains on my toddlers clothes are gone! I also love the immediate locking feature when you hit start. Having two toddlers it gives me peace of mind. We are also saving on our gas bill bc clothes are less damp from how well the spin cycle works. A lot of features and holds our king comforter. Price is fantastic!

We bought this washer about 2 months ago and love it. We had a Whirlpool before so it was easy to use since most of the controls were similar. The size is perfect and I love the fact that there's no bulky agitator in the middle. The machine is a little loud but we have a seperate laundry room so all we have to do is close the door and the noise level is fine. Overall a great machine at a great price. We compared machines at about 4 other major retailers and we found the best price at Best Buy.

This washed has a big capacity that is great for comforters and larger loads. My laundry comes out clean, no complaints.
