Great front loader for the price. More than basic features, but not crazy with them.

Overall a great dryer! Although the ECO, energy saving option, is not available to use on all the cycles.

Bought this to replace our unit that died. So far we are very pleased. It's a lot quieter and faster than our old one. The construction is solid and it doesn't move at all from vibration. My situation called for side-venting which is pretty rare evidently. Read on if you have the same situation. I ordered a kit and was able to install the side vent without taking the whole unit apart. It was a bit worrisome at first because you really have to hit the unit hard to remove the metal punch outs. I put tape over the edges of to prevent cuts and stuck my arms in at floor level, working blind. It was a pain but not too difficult. Don't be afraid to get the kit and do this. Some of the machines have to be completely taken apart and this one doesn't. The hardest part is getting the screw in with your arms stuck through the bottom of the machine. Once that single screw is installed, it's easy.

This dryer runs very, very quiet, won't make your cloths smell (the way gas dryers typically do), and on medium heat, dries fast without melting shirt decals and screen printing. My particular unit would power up, but would not spin or heat up fresh out of the box. This isn't Best Buy's fault, so I called Whirlpool and made THEM own the problem. They sent a repair guy out. He pulled the panels off the dryer, looked inside, and found a molex power connector that was not fully plugged-in deep within the unit; a factory workmanship issue. That's what you get for non-union, non-American labor. He was in and out in about 25 minutes and the dryer has worked flawlessly ever since. Very happy with the unit and, despite the initial problem with a brand-new dryer, very happy with Whirlpool's support system for taking care of it quickly.

Quiet, many options, very efficient, filter easily cleaned, clothes come out with hardly a wrinkle!

They made sure that we were 100% satisfied with their service & took all boxes/trash with them when they left. We will use their delivery service again!

This dryer has been working great since I got it on December. Used the stacking kit and has been working fine, no vibrations and gets my clothes nice and dry, has more than enough settings for most clothes and big enough to do a family load. I believe the next model up has a steam feature if you are into that.

We have really enjoyed our new dryer. controls are easy, works and drys quickly. very happy with our purchase.

If you are looking for a dryer to do an outstanding Job look no further. This Dryer is the best for the $ and does what you need it to do. Why would you pay an extra $250 on avg. for all of the extra bells and whistles, when you could have a dryer that does what you actually need it to do. I highly recommend this dryer as well as the washer to match.

I have mine stacked on top of the washer. Dries good and is pretty quiet. No complaints so far.

Had been looking to upgrade our 20-year old dryer (one setting: ON), and this one fit the bill: EnergyStar-rated, and with multiple settings for delicates, timed dry, moisture content, programmed dry cycles, and an energy boost option (drying at lower temp for longer time). Very pleased, and Made in the USA.

This dryer is very easy to use and it is big enough for my needs.

Easy to use and fits quite a bit of clothes in it..

Coming from a shared coin-op dryer at an apartment complex, this dryer is great. Sure, it doesn't have crazy numbers of features but it dries well, gently tumbles the clothes after they're done for several hours to keep them from getting wrinkles, and keeps the temperature low enough so as not to damage the clothing.

Very efficient and quiet and it handles moisture well

This was a step up from my old dryer, and even handles the big loads or blankets with no problem. As others have mentioned, the sounds are a bit load when the unit is done, but that is fine once you get used to it.
