This is a quiet hard-working dishwasher. Good thing there is a green light on the front or I would not know it was on. It takes a long time to clean but it gets the job done!

I purchased this dishwasher to go into a stainless Whirlpool kitchen suite. The Gold dishwasher is great because the interior is all stainless instead of cheap plastic. The build quality is better than the normal Whirlpool line. I only took off one star because the dishwasher makes more noise than a Bosch but the Bosch is at a higher price point. Also it would have been nice if Whirlpool would have added a third drawer for utensils at the top since this is their premium branded dishwasher. The cost would have been minimal and they would have been able to compete with some of the more expensive brands.

This dishwasher works well and definitely cleans better than our previous dishwasher. The cycles are longer in an effort to use less water, which I think helps get my dishes cleaner. The stainless steel looks great.

It works extremly quite. Washes very good as well. Love the many diffrent cycles it has. Unfortunately sometimes if you run the 1 hour wash it will not use up all the soap and leave some stuff behind

I haven't had it installed yet, but it is beautiful. There's plenty of room between upper and lower racks (unlike my other whirlpool)

We wanted a quiet dishwasher that had enough power to clean our dishes without residue or little pieces of old food. This does all that! We are very happy with our purchase and how easy it was to work with the team at our local Best Buy. They were great!!!

Looks nice and has great features but we didn't realize this one is about an inch taller than what we replaced it with, but it fits, snug, but it fits.

Extremely quiet . Like most people I only use basic function but noise level was very important to me. In this case only way to find if is working is to check if the green light is on. Very good product.

I absolutely love this dishwasher! I looked at online reviews before purchasing, and I couldn't be happier. I really like that it has a heating element. I've only ran it a few times so far, and everything on the top rack is dry when I open it! This is the quietest dishwasher ever! Another bonus is that you can put the utensil rack on the door to make more room on the bottom. The controls and the exterior are gorgeous.

    Great Dishwasher

Purchased this dishwasher in December 2016 (Best Buy install). I read the reviews ahead of time so I knew the wash cycle was lengthy which did not bother me because I can plan around it. The manual indicates the cycle is long but it is meant to be for energy savings. There is a one-hour cycle, but it may not clean your dishes as well. I had a previous lower end model of Whirlpool and loved it too. I had to replace it after 15 years. This dishwasher is very quiet. Had to call Whirlpool after having it less than a month because it was leaking. Turned out the door was not leveled (not something the Best Buy installer would have known according to the appliance company that came out to repair it). The Best Buy installed leveled the machine but would not know to check the door for level. Anyway, there was no charge for this repair and the Whirlpool customer service was GREAT to deal with. Had another leak recently, however, turned out to be caused by my super concentrated Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent cubes (if you use them, cut them in half, otherwise stay with powder). To verify this, I did a load with no soap and had no leak, then did one with the full cube and it leaked. Also, if you soak your dishes in a tub with hand dish soap at all before eventually loading, rinse any soap off of them (I do both) before putting them in the dishwasher. If you put dishes in with food on them remember to check the filter in the bottom middle of the tub (not closest to the door) at least once a month to see if needs cleaning. If you rinse food stuff off your dishes before loading, this should not be a problem for you. Also pay attention to how the manual says to load the dishes. You can vary some from what they recommend. We have and have had no issues with items coming out sparkling clean. The one thing I wish this dishwasher had would be a dish additive (to remove spots) indicator to let you know if the additive is low, but otherwise no complaints!

    HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

I bought this exact unit elsewhere, new of course, and within the first 1.5 years of owning it today I find out because it's leaking the entire sump assembly needs replacing to the tune of $350. That was the final straw that motivated me to write this review. I do not recommend this unit WHAT SO EVER, and only unless you plan to spend the extra money for extended warranty. On top of that I'm not that impressed with how it cleans overall. The Target Sprayer feature doesn't do anything more than the rest of the sprayers, just hype. You would think with the extra sprayer for the silverware area the silverware would come out without food still on it, no. The silverware holder itself is a nightmare between loading it, and then hanging on the front of the bottom rack or the hooks built into the door. If you take it out to unload after wash it consistently topples over on the counter and silverware goes everywhere. Additionally I would say when I first got it it was exceptionally quiet, that has deteriorated over time. Lastly the adjustable top rack is also broken. In order for it to stay in the up position you have to squeeze really hard on the housing unit for the lifts. Oh and the one side of the silverware sorter top for the silverware basket broke into pieces the first month I had it. For the price, I actually paid closer to $800, you can do better I'm sure. I bought a Whirlpool double floor standing oven, microwave, and side by side refrigerator. The refrigerator runs too cold on the recommended setting and freezes everything. No more Whirlpool for me.
