It is a good dishwasher. It's not great by any means... But it gets the job done. Ok, first off I got a heck of a deal on it. It was their last one so they discounted it because of that. They also discounted it because we waited there for 20 minutes before they said hello... After we went twice to a cashier to get some help. The store was not busy at all, there were 3 cashiers and 2 were free. Anyway, besides the point. The dishwasher was easy to install, even for me as that was my first time installing a dishwasher. It runs great and does an awesome job of cleaning the dirtiest of dishes. There is both a top and bottom water jets. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my big pots can fit in it pretty easily. The top rack has adjustments which are handy. Silverware is in a good spot, but you want to hand scrub them. They are up against the door, so no water jets hit them directly. They do, however, get cleaned and sanitized. It feels durable, and the buttons are easy to push. ITS QUIET!!!! Perfect for an apartment or condo. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't dry the dishes very well. Even if the dishwasher runs just before we go to bed, in the morning they are still wet. We took it off Eco mode, the dishes were still wet. Truthfully I would have given it a 3 if I didn't get such an awesome deal on it. My old dishwasher was 17 year old Amana. It ran very well and did an ok job at washing the dishes, but it dried them 100%. If this one dried them completely I would give it 5 stars. So, if you've made it this far, I'd say this... If you don't mind drying the dishes a little by hand, than this is a 5 star dishwasher.

    Very Good Value

I paid about $429 for this model and it included free delivery and installation. My previous dishwasher of 7 years had a vast array of options but I only remember hitting anything other than normal wash twice (that was in the first month). I wanted something that would wash quickly if needed, this model has a one hour wash. I also wanted quiet. There are quieter models but they cost twice as much. Outside of when it starts up, this model is quiet, not whisper quiet but not annoyingly loud. You will hear it but you will not need to ask someone to speak louder. Three things I do not like. First, it sticks out about an inch further than my last washer, not sure why but it does. Second, the utensil rack slots are not big enough for my "adult" forks and spoons. So I have to remove the separator and the spoons spoon each other when washing (I hope that makes sense - see photo). Third, if you have to interrupt the cycle to put something in, you must press the start button again. If you forget it will beep. This is a minor issue. If you are like me and will select the same option 99.99% of the time, this washer will do the job. I would give 4 1/2 stars but I couldn't. Note, my joy with this washer is I based on me paying $429 not $599. At $599, I would not be as happy.

Great price after discounts and reward certificates. Don't pay over $400 for this machine. The only reason for the 4-stars was for the long long wash/dry cycle; otherwise it wouldve been 5 stars I've finally received the right item. It was installed correctly. I've only used it twice. I put the cascade liquid in the machine this does make a difference in the drying of the dishes. The controls are hidden which I like so no accidently pressing. The stainless steel looks better polished. The silverware rack on the door is the best part. This leaves room in the bottom basket for more dishes to be added. The top rack is adjustable to accommodate taller dinnerware. This dishwasher does run quieter than anyother dishwasher I've had the displeasure of using. Only thing I don't like is how long it takes for the dishes to wash even on the "1-hour" cycle it takes another 30+minutes to finish drying. Its almost quicker to handwash the dishes.

    Very Solid Dishwasher

Good, solid dishwasher. So far, it dishes have come out clean every time. My one complaint, which you will see is common if you read other reviews here at Best Buy and elsewhere on the internet, is that even on the highest heat setting, dishes come out wet. The dishwasher this replaced, which was probably 10 years old, did a fantastic job drying, but it was time for a new one. Did some research, and read reviews (I did find the issue with not completely drying), and decided on this. Price, features, controls, noise level were all considered, and I think this is the best based on our criteria. One word of caution: If you use the high heat option to dry your dishes, do not place anything on the lower rack that will melt. We have discovered this the hard way, and have lost a couple of plastic water bottles. It gets HOT...but still won't dry the dishes completely. Overall: good dishwasher for the price, noise level, and features that won't dry your dishes but will melt them if you're not careful.

No real complaints. Works well and cleans the dishes well. We really like the silverware rack, which maximizes space if placed on the back to the door. What prevents a 5 Star rating is As other readers have advised, does not do the best job drying dishes (poor job actually) but we usually didn't use that feature in our older dishewasher and towel dried anyway so not a big deal for my family. It would be an issue though if we really cared about that option. Complaints about buttons being on top are not a big deal. Just push needed buttons before you close the door since the idea to keep them hidden anyway. This works great so our toddler doesn't hit buttons mid-wash. Also very, very quiet. I was concerned about the drum being plastic but you get what you pay for and so far, no issues. Other than that, looks great and modern. Would buy it again but not agree that this model may not be for everyone.

Needed to upgrade my smaller, 10+ year old dishwasher. Wanted quiet, stainless steel that thoroughly washed dishes on quick cycle. This ones does it. After buying the washer, installation and hoses it came out to be more than unwanted to spend, but I know this one is saving me money in the long run so well worth it.

I'm very happy with this dishwasher. We replaced an old broken one with this and first of all I'm amazed at how quiet it is. Seriously, I have to touch it to feel the vibration to see if it's still running - it's THAT quiet! It also gets everthing much cleaner than our old unit did even when it was in its prime. Two negative comments - but both are so minor that I still give this device a 5-star rating: - the stainless exterior is very hard to keep clean. It shows fingerprints and hand smudges. - I would like some kind of visual indicator that the cycle is done. Because the controls and indicators are hidden away on top of the the door (very cool!) I don't know when it is done running without opening the door. Sometimes I get a shot of steam because it's in the drying cycle. All things considered this is an awesome dishwasher.

Value for price is good, quiet, but doesn't dry the dishes even when on hot dry. Dish rack organization on the top is a bit awkward.

The sale price was good value. Works as well as my mother's Kitchen-Aid dishwasher. I always use the Sensor Wash setting and glassware and dishes are cleaner than any dishwasher that I ever owned while being energy efficient. It's quiet.

The product is just what we needed. It washes the dishes well. We air dry them rather than heat dry to save electricity and because we use lots of plastic containers which hold water anyway. It is significantly quieter than our old Frigidaire and the racks are well designed. I was very dissatisfied, however, with the delivery process. Best Buy lead us to believe that the delivery crew would disconnect and haul away our old washer, as well as take the new one out of the box and haul away the box, which they politely informed me they are not permitted to do for Whirlpools. Had to reschedule the haul away after my husband disconnected the old. Other than that hassle due to incomplete information on the website, very satisfied with the machine.

Replaced our 6 year old LG washer with this being our first Whirlpool appliance. I am very happy with the stainless steel look. Did lots of research in regards to not having disposal or stainless steel tub-opted for this with filter and plastic tub and have no complaints. We wash our dishes off thoroughly prior to dishwasher so won't be a big deal to not have disposal option. Dishes are dry after cycles, very clean!

After 27 years I finally decided to upgrade rather than repair. Best Buy had a great price and the reviews on this model were good so I decided this was the time. First, the look is beautiful - very sleek and contemporary. And, best of all, it's so, so quiet. I used to run my dishwasher at night (I have an open kitchen) but now I don't have to. The top basket is deep so I can fit my coffee carafe in there more easily than before and there is no center contraption in the bottom so my plates fit in more easily. Dishes come out sparkling so I think I picked a winner.

Very quiet dishwasher with easy to use controls. Intuitive control layout with enough cycle choices for all needs. Two complaints, first the silverware holder slots are too small to hold all silverware as well as being small overall. Also, for installation you are not supplied a required elbow which means you have locate one somewhere and run out to get it. Quite perplexing why this is not included.

The produce is really pretty decent. It would be nice to have more choices on the delay (now it's none, or 4 hours). The thing is VERY quiet, but the drying is only so-so, some dishes are usually still damp

All and all I am very happy with this. Had spent twice as much on a Samsung dishwasher which was such garbage that I ended up throwing it out after 2 years and another $400 in repairs. The only design flaw is the location of the silverware holder which is on the door and often jams up the bottom rack. Otherwise, it is quiet and I have had no problems with it's performance which is a pleasure after the Samsung. I would definitely recommend this for the price.

After our 18 year old dishwasher retired, we took months researching our options for a new one. Finally, we decided on this Whirlpool dishwasher and have been very please so far. The loading options help with the variety of dishes we use, and the machine is extremely quiet. My only complaint is that after the drying cycle is completed, the dishwasher retains more moisture than it should. Good purchase, though, and I would recommend this dishwasher for sure.

Usually with stainless steel appliances, the fingerprints are everywhere....but not on my dishwasher...smudge resistant. It's quiet, plenty of room, love the controls on the top inside ledge and produces wonderfully clean dishes and silverware...absolutely love this product and Best Buy installers were...well...just the BEST! Highly recommend this product even though on clearance and certainly recommend the installers...they really were top notch!!
