Easy to install: connect cable, hang on existing screws in fridge, hook up fridge to water supply and you're done. In two hours, you have ice. So far, it has been making ice, and we have never run out. Very good choice.

Ice maker for Whirlpool refrigerator. Makes lot of ice. Works very well.

took me less than 5 minutes to install, 3 simple steps: 1) remove the cover plate inside freezer where ice maker will go 2) attach the wire connector on the ice maker to the existing wire connector inside the freezer 3) hang the ice maker on the 2 existing posts on the freezer wall, making sure the water tube hangs into the ice maker. Wait approx 12-24 hours for ice and toss out the first 2 batches. NOTE: don't get nervous if no ice at all comes out for the first 12 hours or if the ice maker is not making any noise / movement. Seems to be by design that the fridge or ice maker waits till it has been installed at least 12-24 hours before anything at all happens. The install manual says 24 hours, but my experience was much less...around 6-12 hours.

The ice macheine works great and is pretty quiet. The installation was a bit time consuming than originally thought ( probably because of how our kitchen is designed) but now that we have it on and workin g we love it.

Who doesn't want fresh ice cubes for their drinks? This unit works perfectly and was a good buy for my new Whirlpool fridge.

The plumbing and wiring comes standard, even if your fridge doesn't have a water dispenser or ice maker. Once the water supply line has been connected to your fridge, you just take out two screws to remove the cover, then plug in the unit, hook it onto the two screws on the side of the freezer and tighten them down. That's all there is to it.

Easy to install and works well. If you are going to be away on vacation, turn it off. It will overfill into the freezer.

It takes the water and makes it into a cube. It then dispenses it into the tray. It works fine. It's fairly quiet. The ice tastes good.
