I struggled with the idea of spending so much on a litter box but I will never go back to scooping! I have 3 cats and two jumped right in without question, the last one took about 2 days and then she was using it. I don't have any smells in the house and the clean up is so easy, hust open the drawer and pull the bag out. I did have one issue with the wifi connection but i believe it was more of a spectrum issue and not an issue with the LR4. I have no regrets except that I didn't invest sooner.

The Litter Robot 4 has been a game changer for our 4 foster cats! It’s spacious enough for all of them, super quiet, and keeps the room odor-free. No more constant scooping—just an easy emptying process that saves so much time! The cats adjusted quickly and seem to love it too. Highly recommend for multi-cat households!

When it works smoothly it's great, but the machine and the ap can be pretty glitchy and figuring out which litter works best for this device and your cat's habits is quite complicated. I don't think we've gone more than a couple weeks without some random light blinking error and/or notification, requiring a reset and or manual cycling of the machine. For as much as this cost, it seems like it should operate without so much intervention. As to the litter. My cat pees a lot, so at first we'd have to do an extra cycle every time he peed. Figured out that increasing the time to start the cycle helps, but not every time. Changed to higher clumping litter which helps, but now it tracks more! If we keep just the right amount of litter in there it helps with the tracking, which means we have to be more diligent about keeping the level just right. When it's working its fantastic and does a great job of masking the odors, just wish it was a little more automatic for as much as it costs. This is the only automatic litter box we've owned, and our cat went from indoor-outdoor to apartment living so our expectations may have been high.

This was a lifesaver when my partner's cat and mine started living together. It eliminated the pee competitions, both of them had a cleaned litter whenever they needed to use it. Deep cleanings are not easy, but it's been helpful not have to scoop every day.

I bought the litter robot 4 for my 2 male cats and one of them ended up with a UTI that we caught the day it started happening, we took him to the vet and got him treatment right away, they saved my babys life. I can see exactly which cat is using it at what time due to their weight size. Literally a LIFE SAVER! Thank you!

Takes the grunt work out of owning cats especially multiple cats. Love it! Even if it’s almost $900

Have had the litter robot 4 now for around a month does the job well the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have 2 cats who weigh totally different but only registers 1 cat’s weight. I have tried all the troubleshooting but nothing seems to work. Will wait a week or two more and see what happens.

This litter box is a game changer. We have four rescue cats (love them) and it lets us live our lives while keeping their tushies clean. This keeps the house clean and the smell down. It senses the kittens (they are fascinated by it) so it’s safe. Totally worth the money!

I have owned this since July and this has been my only litter box for 4 cats and it’s been working amazing. Almost all of the time all I need to do is clean out the drawer (I used 10 gallon trash bags) and add more litter. I have had a few issues with it like it would disconnect from the app or wasn’t alerted when it for some reason dumped out all the litter and my cats kept using it but overall totally worth it and I think it’s been a great purchase. 3 out of 4 cats took to it immediately and one protested by going everywhere but the litter robot but after a week or so he got used to it too. This has also helped the smell in my basement go down quite a bit. The only other issue I have is I’ll take it apart to clean it, rinse it off with a hose and try to dry it the best I can. All the videos I see online say to let it sit in the sun but since it’s cold out and it’s also my only litter box I can’t do that so I use paper towels. Paper towels work fine but there are some spots that are hard to reach and I’ll need to move plastic parts to get my hand in and I feel like if I’m not careful I’ll snap it off. So far nothing has broke but it’s always in the back of my mind.

Awesome for automating a chore that everyone hates! I couldn’t live without one now, but it’s not quite perfect. Pros: Automates litter box cleaning, cuts down significantly on smell, looks nice, great user friendly app to track your cat’s weight and bathroom habits. Cons: The black color shows dust quite easily. Occasionally the sensors also get dusty and need to be cleaned or you will run into errors. One I’ve encountered is that the globe rotates the opposite direction and empties the entire thing (clean litter included) into the waste bin. Super annoying but only an intermittent issue, and customer service from Litter Robot has actually been great. Another negative is that if you have a cat that likes to scratch after using the litter box, you will likely get rips in the lining of the globe and have to replace it. Mine got pretty torn up after less than a year. Overall a great product and worth the investment if you don’t mind a few quirks!

Got the Litter-Robot as a gift for my wife—and let me tell you, it’s probably the most appreciated appliance we’ve ever owned. We’ve got two cats, and cleaning the litter box used to be the one chore we both quietly hated. Not anymore. This thing is a game-changer. It automatically scoops after every use, seals the waste, and keeps the whole area smelling way better than we expected. My wife was skeptical at first, but now she checks the app like it’s a smart baby monitor—shows usage, alerts when the drawer’s full, even tracks our cats' habits.

I wish I would have purchased this YEARS ago. I had an automatic litterbox that would clean the litter and it was junk. I was hesitate puchasing the litter robot 4 because of my experience with the other type I had that I did not like. My cats were using the litterbox within one week of setting it up.

Works great for my 13 week old Ragdoll Kittens! Haven't tried some of the more advanced features, but the cleanup is VERY easy. I use Dr. Elsey's Ultra!

Had a few months helped alot during bout of COVID. Easy cleaning. Wow...sure with I had bought 2nd one like an having delivered today...wish they came with hoppers then they would be perfect.

Top part doesn’t click on properly but still a great buy no smell from the robot easy to clean would recommend

Love, love, love! This is the best gift I bought myself. It’s world perfectly, haven’t had any issues. I’m saving time and money. I don’t have to but as much litter. Also the smell of cat pop is not as strong as before because it is cleaned out right away. It also weighs my kitties so I am able to keep track of their weight. Buy it!!!

I just bought my 2nd robot and I think they’re great. When they’re working, they are amazing! I would caution any newbies that this is a complicated machine that works best when the innards are free of grit and dirt, which is obviously difficult with a machine designed to move litter around. For example, the litter level in the globe is very important- if you overfill the globe it will leak into the motor area and eventually you might get a burned out motor. Just saying that it’s a machine that requires some regular maintenance.

I am pretty frugal with my money, but this 100% worth the money. This saves time on scooping, it makes cleanup easy with the drawer, AND it keeps my cats entertained while it rotates! I have 2 cats, both about 10 pounds each. It only took a few days for them to get used to it and not trip the sensors by just looking inside.

This Whisker robot 4 is excellent. Saves alot of time not scooping a regular liter box. We have 2 new to us cats. They both use it and it can handle at least 4 cats. Works great and very easy to set up. The best purchase i have ever made. Thank you inventers
