Tina Fey heads a great cast in a modern era look at our "current" war effort. The cast works well together and we see the war from a different perspective. The humor is great.

I always find something refreshing about Tina Fey productions. This movie did not disappoint. Got a little slow in the second half, but overall a good buy.

This is a great date night movie it has the BS romantic stuff women like and so war stuff is guys like. And it has it funny moments. Good story line

Although I was expecting a side splitting comedy this is more of a cerebral comedy. Excellent story with rifts of sarcasm and wit. A good buy.

I waited to see this film on DVD because of my own experience in Afghanistan, I was glad I did. I was amazed that is was so true to my own experience there in many ways. The acting was impressive and showcased Tina Fey's range very well.the cameo appearances by Alfred Molina were delightful. To anyone having been it will awaken intense feelings

It's not a perfect movie, but for a longtime Tina Fey fan, it was great finally getting a film role worth watching. Definitely worth a watch.

This movie is not some vapid comedy without much substance. It challenges our perceptions and biases about U.S. military interventions, the media, and policy decision making. The dialogue is both funny, intellectually perceptive, and modernly reflective of current events. There are a few surprises to keep us interested throughout the movie.

So when I first watched I thought it was going to be a comedy, was pleasantly supprised when I found out it was more of a drama.

Tina Fey is one of the great comedic minds of our time. That being said, Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot is Tina at her best, a real laugh riot. Without giving any spoilers, I'll just say you should be prepared for a satisfying dose of her signature wit, charm, and humor. A real comedic Tour De Force. Highly recommended.

This is a war story that takes place in Afganistan. The stroy is different than I expected but it was an enjoyable time.
