A beautiful movie that the whole family can enjoy..

There are better Ghibli movies. This is pretty low on my list. Enjoyable enough, but not a rewatch.

Character driven movie about two kids growing up in Japan and finding themselves. Beautifully animated. Nice story.

My wife and I love anime. Like many, we have a special fondness for Ghibli movies. We've watched most of them and we both agree that this one ranks near the bottom. That's not to say it's a bad movie; it just isn't as good as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, or even Arietty. If you have the money to burn give it a shot. Quaint.

Terrific to watch and a definite collectible. You will enjoy it.
