This WipeDrive Six is a great product. It's easy to use. It fully cleans your hard drive. Great value.

I was unable to use this product, as it apparently only works from a CD. My laptop, for whatever reasons, cannot read CD's, either from its internal drive or from an external drive that I know is functional. I got good support from the vendor, i.e. they sent me a downloaded version to run from a Flash drive, and suggested use of an external CD drive. Ultimately, however, running the program from a Flash drive did not work. The program hung while trying to access a CD drive. The product appears OK, and I will try it on a hard drive sometime in the future.

Had looked in to free software online but you needed to be an IT guy to figure them out. This was user friendly and their call in support team was really helpful. Note that the purchase comes with 3 wipes for your activation code. If you need to wipe more than 3 computers, you will have to purchase more wipes via web site or phone call.

Worked fine erasing the data on my PC without erasing any program files. It will also erase the entire hard drive if you want.

If your looking for a product to clean out your computer prior to selling or giving it away, then this for you. Quick and easy to use and does the job

I am at a loss when it comes to the workings of a computer. I have two old computers that I needed to throw away but was concerned about info on the hard drive. Wipe Drive six took care of my worries. It was very easy to use and from what my sons tell me, there is nothing recoverable on my drives. Well worth the money.

Needed to wipe info from my father-in-law's computer after he died. Easy to use & effective.

The directions could be better but I was able to accomplish the clearing of two old computers.

For me, wipe drive is the perfect item to fully clean off your hard drive on your computer or laptop. This allows you to do it with peace of mind knowing your information is gone, since its goes back to original specs and not break the bank!

I have used wiprdrive for a number of years and always liked the outcome of this product. Excellent item.

the software will run from the disk for systems not connected to the internet. had to go through some work to get the software download working for systems using the net. the download provides its own activation codes that need to be kept to use the downloaded versions. will fully erase both external drives and internal drives plus USB drives.

I had a horrible virus that even antivirus software and computer experts couldn't get rid of. This software got rid of it, and restored my operating system perfectly. Saved me hundreds of dollars!

I bought this to wipe a Hard drive that was on a laptop that I was fixing for a student that can't afford to buy one. I noticed that it will also clean cell phone info also, which was an added bonus.

Worked as advertised. Takes time but is thorough and instructions are good..

I would have given it five stars, but for one piece of information that wasn't included with the directions. Once the the software is loaded and it tells you to restart(you need to remove the cd before the restart) or it won't work. I know this doesn't apply to to many computers anymore but this was an older toshiba.

If ur intention is to simply wipe ur drive then yes! But it states it keeps ur word processor and operating system yet gave no option to do so and in the end it wiped our comp. so we ending up having to pay additional for the replacements...

If you need to remove data from your PC or laptop this Wipe Drive will do the trick

It work pretty welll except it doesn't automatically delete I had set up a certain setting for it to run
