White Hot is my favorite of the Angel album catalog. Great music, great hooks, and several classic cuts. Everyone should own this album.

Heard this album from a coworker in the Stereo store we worked at. Never forgot "The Winter Song".

Angel "White Hot" is good old school Hard Rock!

Angel "White Hot" is a really decent, good, Hard Rock album. Released in 1977, this is legitimate old school Hard Rock that, in my opinion, really matters. Angel is a band that flies under the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal radar, a neat band to get into and add to your music collection. Every song is really cool, the overall sound and production quality reminds me of the earliest of Kiss albums. The music of Angel is bona fide Hard Rock, borderline early Heavy Metal. The songs are all catchy, melodic and fun. "Got Love If You Want It" and "Stick Like Glue" are good examples of the fun lyrics that Angel uses, these two songs are terrific. "The Winter Song" is a diverse track, it has a heavy beat, yet it is also a Hard Rock ballad that is filled with great emotion and spirited lyrics. You will also hear quite the inspired chorus on "The Winter Song" as well, adding to the total uplifting sound and feel. Overall, Angel "White Hot" is definitely worth owning and turning to for some good retrospective Hard Rock. Angel on "White Hot": Gregg Guiffria on synthesizer and keyboards, Frank DiMino on lead vocals & background vocals, Punky Meadows on lead guitar & acoustic guitar, Felix Robinson on bass and Barry Brandt on drums. The liner notes are 4 pages of extended artwork and credits. There are no lyrics in the liner notes.
