Great movie a lot great car chases and stunts and one Burt Reynolds early great movie

A great old school film, car chases, real stunt men, no cgi here

This Kino Lorber blu-ray has been on my radar for several years but has always been priced just out of reach. Finally picked it up on sale from BB w/ free shipping. The movie looks very good on this blu-ray disc, so you won't be disappointed there. There's just one 10 minute extra "Back to the Bayou" with Burt Reynolds that shares some interesting tidbits about the film and its success, though I wish it went a bit longer. I can recommend this blu-ray of a classic film

This Blu-Ray reproduces my original 1973 first-run theatre movie going experience watching the Burt Reynolds action classic,"White Lightning",so I recommend this home video top marks all the way.It is in it's original 1:85:1 aspect ratio as it was meant to be seen,a very clean,sharp,transfer of this movie,the BEST yet on Home Video.

A very cool action flick with Burt Reynolds. It is a good transfer to Blu Ray; there is only a 10 minute featurette as features.

I always liked the Gator McKlusky films, Burt Reynolds was too cool and the stories were pretty good. The blu ray looks great.

Who doesn't love early Burt Reynolds movies, great sound track....

White lightning is classic early 70s. It has Burt Reynolds with a long list of recognizable character actors. While the movie is still watchable you need to know that it is not the theatrical release but instead it's the edited for tv print. It has content trims and some dubbed over dialog. Could have moved up a star if it was not the edited version.

I like Smokey and the Bandit. It's nice to see other good movies with Burt Reynolds.

If you love Burt Reynolds this is the film to get. And don’t forget the sequel.

It is a typical Burt Reynolds movie from that era...not much for script or plot, but good car chases...never knew that cars could burn rubber on dirt!
