This is one of my favorite films! I first saw it when it was released in theaters way back in 1988. I grew up watching live-action/animation hybrids like "Mary Poppins," "Bedknobs and Broomsticks," and even "Pete's Dragon." But none of them were as ambitious or as clever as this classic! I highly recommend this tremendous film that truly revolutionized how movies are made. Now available in a fantastic 4K steelbook edition, I highly recommend this to anyone. Two thumbs way up!

This is a review of the 4k UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release, not the movie itself. However, I will say that the movie holds up well to my childhood memories, and I had a lot of fun re-watching it. Packaging - 5/5 The SteelBook cover art design is the reason I made the purchase. While I have fond recollections of this movie as a kid, I would have been content waiting for the standard edition to go on deep discount before buying. I really enjoy a good SteelBook design, and jumped at the opportunity to add it to my collection when it came back in stock. Visuals - 4/5 This is a very nice 4k restoration of a 35mm film print, and the HDR makes the animations pop. The effects still look pretty good, especially considering the age of the movie. Audio - 3/5 Nothing really noteworthy here. The 5.1 track has been updated to a 5.1 Dolby Atmos track, but I really have to strain to notice a difference (at least on my setup). Overall - 4/5

If any movie needed a 4k steelbook this is it....this is a great edition to the steelbook collection and any movie lover should own this ahead of it's time animated/live action love letter to toons and noir film of the 1920's -50's with the perfect mixture of comedy and seriousness to pull a rabbit out the hat ...see what I did there....love this film love this steelbook

This is a really fun steelbook for an equally fun and entertaining film. I grew up with Roger Rabbit so for me, the nostalgia factor is high on this one. The steelbook has a nice, glossy finish, the colors are vibrant, and the artwork used for both the inside and outside is very well done. I would definitely recommend adding this one to your steelbook collection!

Love the artwork on the steelbook and glad to see a classic ahead of it's time reimagined in 4K. Really brings back a lot of childhood memories and still love the mix of animation and reality. The combination of Disney and Warner Brother characters will never been seen together again. Excellent purchase and collectible!

This was one of my favorites as a kid. Couldn't not own this collectible Steelbook. I'll admit the outer-shell design doesn't blow me away, but the interior looks cool, along with the print on the discs themselves. So overall, good package -- the sum of its parts makes this a good buy. Recommend if you're a fan of this movie.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is gem of a movie! It truly is a masterpiece of filmmaking and I don't think we'll see anything like it ever again. This was made in a time when Animation was not drawing in as many crowds as it used to, so the top animation studies came together and created this beautiful movie. Amazing to see it in 4k HDR!!

Such a great purchase. This provides endless hours of entertainment for my family. I highly recommend anyone who is in the market to purchase this item to consider this exact one. We absolutely love our local Best Buy store. This was a great purchase for our family to enjoy.

The case art work alone convinced me to purchase this naustalgic filled escape from reality film. Took me back to my child hood, previous steelbooks i have purchased have been deleivered dented and damaged. Thank goodness this gem didnt ! Awesome collectable that will continue to age well.

This Movie was an Historic Landmark for the Film Industry. The HD Quality was Great and the Behind The Scenes was even Better. LOVE The Front and Inside Covers. Also, the Bonus Cartoons of Roger Rabbit are included. This Is A MUST HAVE To Add To Your Classics Collection.

Roger Rabbit is one of my favorite movies and honored to have scored a copy of this beautiful Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook. The film itself is gorgeously animated even thought it's an old and the Blu-ray has been restored with this issue. The 4K+Blu-Ray standard release belongs in every library.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was one of the first VHS titles I ever owned, back at a time when VHS was still expensive. Now, for much less than that VHS I owned years ago, I got the 4K Steelbook. The HDR really brings out the color of this film. I still recite, “A shave and a haircut…two bits!”

Great movie better than i remembered. 1st one i ordered came damaged as usal had to exchange it. Thank god the replace arrived in good shape first one i received for best buy that wasnt damaged. Look at what your shipping out so people dont have to do exchanges...

A classic live-action noir murder mystery mixed with a classic cartoon. No other movie that’s come since has been able to make real actors look as if they’re really interacting with animated characters nearly as well as this one. Space Jam 2 wishes it was this good.

I collect Disney/Marvel 4K UHD SteelBooks and I'm glad to add this in my collection. Luckily, Best Buy sent my SB in a box, however, without air pillows. I hope Best Buy continues to send SBs in boxes WITH air pillows to prevent damage during transit.

Picture does not do it justice. Very beautiful simplistic style SteelBook. Nice to have two versions of the film as the 4K does have different tones to it. Entirely a preference of the viewer. Contains special features and a digital copy that looks great.

If you were worried the 4K transfer would ruin this movie worry no more. It’s got the right amount of film grain and doesn’t make the animated characters look out of place. The Steelbook is absolutely a collectors item highly recommended.

I remember seeing it in theaters upon initial release and it holds up tremendously 30+ years later. Still holding onto my wish that Roger Rabbit makes more appearances in the Disney family of toons and live action shows.

Thank you Best Buy for packaging this limited edition steelbook in a box. Came to me in perfect condition. This is the first time it came in a box with no damage. Look forward to purchasing many more this way.

I had forgotten how good this was. And I appreciated so much more of this movie than the last time I saw it as a kid. The animation looks great on 4K UHD. Love the steelbook packaging, as well.
