funny in a corky way, a little to much cursing for me.

Why Him? is a bit long, with a rocky third act. But it's undeniably funny; think a brawdier version of Meet the Parents, full of light easy-breezy laughs, and fun performances. In addition, the blu-ray is plush with worthwhile extras. So if you're a fan, you've got plenty more to look forward to.

I read reviews on this and was still curious to watch even though the reviews were not great. I loved it and laughed so hard I cried. Lots of explicit language and adult situations (humorous) so I would not recommend this for young children or anyone that is turned off by cursing. Cameo by the band KISS and Elon Musk. Must see!

I liked the movie. It was funny and heart as well.

I love that actors like Bryan Cranston and Megan Mullally don't take themselves too seriously. They really go for it with these edgy jokes. Sure, some of it isn't really tasteful. But this is a movie you watch to unwind and have a good laugh at the expense of a d*** & f**t joke.

So I didn't have many expectations for this movie . While it wasn't the best movie, I mean it is a James Franco movie, it had it's moments and it made me laugh. The plot wasn't really thought out too much but the characters were likable and the jokes were good.

THIS MOVIE WAS SO FUNNY AND A TYPICAL JAMES FRANCO FILM. I REALLY THINK HE ACTS LIKE HIS CHARACTER IN REAL LIFE. BUT EVERY FAMILY HAS A STRUGGLE WHEN THEIR DAUGHTER STARTS DATING. BUT THIS MOVIE SHOWS THAT THE STRUGGLE OF A FATHER AND HIS DAUSGHTERS BOYFRIEND IS REAL AND CAN BE OVERCOME.

It took me a while to actually see this movie---as I'm not a huge Franco fan--but do love Bryan Cranston. How they kept straight faces---that alone takes talent! LOL! After testing the waters, so to speak, by renting through redbox---I knew I had to buy it--

I got this on black friday for $4 cause i thought what the hey its cheap so I dont lose much if it sucks. Im happy to report this movie is funny, heart warming at some ponts and lots of sex jokes which are my type humor. Worth buying.

This movie had me laughing from beginning to end. It might not be 100% original and you can easily predict where the movie will go next BUT that doesnt discount how funny every scene is. My wife and I were in tears with laughter.

One of the funnier movies in a while. Really laugh out loud stuff. Very much on the raunchy comedy side. The toilet scene and the throwing of the chicken were must see scenes. The main characters the wife/dad and the James Franco and his assistant were just great. Super funny, goofy.

This movie is very funny and if you can just get past the "f" word, then you can sit back and enjoy. This movie shows that you can't judge a person by their outward appearance and you need to look deeper into who they truly are. The father was hilarious in trying to outdo the boyfriend.

The language was a little more than expected. The plot was pretty easy to figure out. I think this is more of a hey wake up America this is the new dating, hooking up corporations being run by 20 something's world. Oh and geeks still rock!

I had very low expectations when I bough the movie. I was pleasantly surprised, there were quite a few funny moments. I can't say this was the best comedy but it was entertaining. I would definitely watch it again for a laugh.

This movie is very funny. It makes you feel very uncomfortable at many times during the flick; because some of the antics are just so wrong. But that,s what we have come to expect from james franco and we can all sympathise with the dad(Bryan Cranston).Funny Stuff.

Great acting. I couldn't help laughing as there were so many funny scenes. Bryan Cranston amazed me at his comedic side. The characters were well chosen and worked well together. The ending was however a little too predictable.

It's not something I would watch over and over again. However, sit down with a few drinks and some friends and you'll probably laugh all night. However, don't watch it you don't have a somewhat crude sense of humor.

I have watched this movie over twenty times. Yes, it is that funny. Not appropriate for kids though as it definitely has adult humor and situations.

Although this film had its extremely funny moments, it had many instances of out and out vulgarity - which I took to be essential to the framework of the movie. All in all a decent movie to spend some mindless time to.

This is an R rated film about a girl who is in love with a foul mouthed rich, but nice guy and introduces him to her nice middle class family. Very funny with lots of language and adult situations. Not for kids.
