I thought id take a bigger step into this hobby. I ordered this, some large boveda packs for humidity, a govee hygrometer to keep an eye on humidity and loaded up on cigars from CigarPage. Overall it is a great humidor, my one complaint is that it does not heat, only cool. So make sure its in a room thats roughly 70 F or more. The max temp is 65F so you cant bring it up if desired. Other than that I think its a great purchase especially if you get a good sale price on it!

This thermo-electric humidor is fantastic for cigars. I've had mine for about a month and have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. Pros: -looks nice -maintains temperature perfectly -has a nice, tight seal - locking in humidity Cons: -it's smaller than I expected -right out of the box, the interior has a strong plastic odor -slight whirring noise Upon first receiving this unit, be prepared to spend several days "seasoning" it. Wipe the inside with baking-soda-water, and then stuff it with newspaper for 24 hours to nullify the plastic smell. If time is taken to properly break the unit in, then it will require little or no maintenance in the future.

I placed some of my old hardened cigars in this humidor and in one month they were softer and fresher.

I got this coolidor on sale. I like it. It keeps my cigars at the desired temperature and humidity most of the time. I have it placed near a window and on colder days the coolidor gets cooler than the set temperature. The coolidor is nice looking but upon closer inspection the quality isn't up to par with its price tag. blemishes in materials and pieces of cedar in the shelving that shouldn't have been used (cracks, miss-shaped pieces). But overall I'm happy with it. I got tired of my tabletop glass top humidors not being able to keep my stogies humidified and making my cigars dry. This product does the trick with its fan that circulates the humidity to all the cigars. Just make sure to keep the included reservoir dish filled with cigar juice or distilled water.

My husband loves this!! His mancave is in the basement and it is a room that is always cold. It is so hard for him to keep the humidors at the right temp- but with this electric humidor-it’s perfect!! His only complaint is that he would like more drawers. The shelves are fine, but the cigars can fall off the sides. All in all, we would purchase again.

I'm giving this item 1 star because of the lack of support but Whynter. I've not had any issue with temp BUT have just gone around with Whynter about the drawer itself. I opened an issue with them and they were no help. My issue was that the rails on the drawer are not correctly placed. If you compare your unit to the pictures on Best Buy or Whynter.com, you'll see the drawer is suppose to meet up with the middle shelf. This eliminates the dead space and gives you more room on the floor of the unit for boxes. After receiving no help from Whynter, I corrected the issue myself by popping off the drawer rails and moved them to the bottom (as they should be). Keeps my cigars fresh and ready to go. It looks great. It's a little safe for my cuban cigars. Temperature and humidity are always perfect.

Two things you should know: it isn’t a compressor based system so it runs 24/7 and there is a blue temp display that I had to cover up since I can’t dim it. That said, it has done a phenomenal job keeping my collection cool. I threw a couple Boveda 320gram packs in the shelves and my cigars are well preserved in the Phoenix environment. There are a few guys online who make cedar drawers for these units if you prefer that over shelves. Check prices online, I was able to get this price matched- BestBuy chat has consistently taken care of me with that process. I am definitely glad I upgraded from a wooden box humidor!

Once up and running it does a nice job of maintaining temp and humidity. Will hold several boxes of cigars with ease

I love how fresh it keeps my cigars. It holds around 250 cigars. Only down side is I had to find drawers to place my cigars in rather than just storing the cigars in boxes.

I bought this Whynter Humidor off of the Best Buy eBay site. A little cheaper that way. I bought through Best Buy because I could get the 5 year Geek Squad warrantee. The Whynter humidor has worked very well in protecting my cigars for over a month now. It stays at a constant 70% humidity and 65 degrees. I recommend this humidor to anyone serious about their cigars.

It does what exactly what it says. There is a process for it to get the right temperature to match your humidity percent. I recommend for anyone if they are wanting the best cigars don't hesitate to purchase this item. Please know I'm am very impress of the item. Because there is alot of competitors and they provide the same product but most of them work totally different because this item has only a coolant system and not a heater unless you live in a cold climate.

I've ordered this humidor for the second time and so far so good. It was very easy to assemble and set up. Thus far, the humidor works like a charm. Any dry cigars I had, now have new life and smoke beautifully. I bought an extended warranty just in case. Delivery was sooner than I expected. Good product all in all.

Excellent product and quality. Very important to take your time seasoning the humidor before adding cigars. The humidor gauge that come with the units is very inaccurate. Purchase a good gauge before adding cigars.

GREAT Humidor with electronic cooling keeps my cigars at 60 degrees with 70% Humidity. keeps my sticks just right.

Husband loved it … only complaint is the directions are useless … he had to you tube to get it going correctly

This is my second humidor. It holds plenty of cigars and looks nice. I hope that this time, it lasts more than two three years.
