The unit runs for at least two days before I have to empty the bucket. There is an option to attach the hose and have it run into the drain. I have not yet had to use this option. The panel indicates what the current humidity level is. I set it at 45 and it works very well.

IT IS FANTASTIC. JUST STARTED TO HAVE A SLIGHT MUSTY SMELL IN MY BASEMENT AFTER 35 YEARS. IT'S JUST LESS THAN 1000 SQUARE FEET WITH NO WATER PROBLEMS. USING THIS HAS RID MY BASEMENT OF THAT SMELL AND TAKES A LOT OF THE MOISTURE OUT OF THE AIR. IT'S EASY TO USE AND TO UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS. WITH THE GREAT DEAL I GOT AT BEST BUY, I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THIS MODEL.

Efficient Dehumidifier
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started using my 30 pint unit today and it is easy to use (once I read the booklet). My only complaint is that it is loud! It's on the first floor and I can hear it on the second floor while the TV and A/C are on. Also, I will have to turn it off while I'm transcribing as I work on that floor.
