Filters are a little pricey, but it is efficient, quiet and does not take much floor space. impressive electronics. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. Very happy with this model so much, I got two of them.

Needed something to help eliminate the smoke and help with dander and dust. I usually keep the fan at 2 or 3 and its nice and quiet. Even if I had it up at 6, it's not too bad. My apartment is going to be renovated and I wanted this to help with the smoke smell in a freshly painted place. I have a studio apartment and this model works great for the size.

We have one at each end of our house and they are super. Replacement filters are a little expensive to replace, but they work real well.

Took it out of the box and the front panel fell off, the 4 plastic tabs that hold the front on were broke off. Called company was on phone for over an hr, never got to talk with someone, so i hung up called Best Buy and got my return label.. For the price i think it is made cheap..

Reviews do matter and are a part of my decision making process. Deciding on an air purifier was a bit time consuming because there are so many out there that provide a wide variety of options to suit different needs. This is the first time I purchased a Whynter product and was pleasantly surprised. It truly does clean the air! While in the auto mode: When my dog walks past it, it kicks on! He's "bad air". When I sweep, it kicks on! Dust is "bad air". It kicked on when I picked up my dirty laundry and the machine got a whiff of it. Dirty laundry is, "bad air". If you want good air, this machine will clean the bad air and distribute the good air. I like the low amperage rating, the UV light feature, and the replacement filters are priced reasonably at this time.

It's only been a little over a week but she tells me it is working great. No issues. This unit has a larger range/capacity than most others and that helped us to cover her entire unit. Well done
