Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Elite D-Series 30-Pint Portable Dehumidifier's quiet operation and ease of use. Many appreciate its effective dehumidification performance. However, some customers found the water tank capacity to be somewhat small and the drain hose too short. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the concerns about the size of the water tank and hose length.

Good unit, DOES NOT have an integrated pump

First note, Best Buy lists it as having an integrated pump but it does not. Other than that it works well so far. Time will tell if it lasts. Mine also arrived extremely dirty and I needed to wipe to outside of it down

When my old Sears humidifier finally died about a month ago after 20 years, I decided it was time to get a new one. Since I was using it specifically for the basement, I wanted one that was quiet, didn't give off much heat and kept the basement comfortable. So far, this machine has fit the bill. Although I was skeptical of buying an off name brand, I saw that the ratings were pretty good. My only comments about the machine is that I wish it held a little more water and had more of a funnel to pour it out when it's full. It is very easy to clean. I usually keep it on Comfort mode, but sometimes put it on Continuous when it's very humid. Overall, it's a nice little humidifier that does the job.

I like everything about this dehumidifier except that it fills quickly. My last dehumidifier was a 70 pint capacity machine. This one has to be emptied as often as twice a day. But... I can live with that, not with the damp basement. If I could talk my wife into using the hose discharge the problem would be solved. It runs quieter than my last one, so that is good. My last one made over 20 years. I hope this one will do the same!

Nice quiet dehumidifier, works well. Setting are easy to adjust. Seems like filter light is always on but I probably just need to read the manual, which I hate doing. The filter is not dirty. I checked it a couple of times.

Very happy with our purchase except we need to empty 2-3 times a day. Should have bought the next size up. Easy to use, nice appearance and does the job.

Does the job, but since it is smaller than my last dehumidifier, I have to empty three times a day. I bought the warranty, which was very expensive. "m hoping it will fix any problems that may arise. My last dehumidifer only lasted 2 years.

We just got this dehumidifier delivered this evening. We needed one to do it’s job for our garage that is half underground underneath our townhouse. Had it running now for about 3 hours and already has made a huge difference with the moisture. The tank is already 3/4 full in just those 3 hours so it definitely was worth our money and well needed. Super happy with it in just this short time span plus it does have an option to hook a drain pipe to it so you don’t have to worry about the tank always getting full. Only thing negative I can say about it is it did come with a hose to do so but insanely short but can totally over look that for the price and how well it is already working.

I live full time in a 41' RV, with single pane windows, in western WA. This pulls 9 pints of water every 24 hours, best one yet!!!

Easy to operate. Does a great job of taking in water. Has a great timer function to turn off or turn on based on the timer you set. I plan on getting another one. Love the 30-pint version as it is easy for me to take the water container out to drain and put back into place.

    Could Be Better

It comes pre-set to a function that disables the up and down humidity controls leading you to believe it's broken out of the box. After playing around with the controls and scouring the manual, you have to take it out of the pre-set function to manually set the humidity. The plastic drain hose comes bent into three kinks and stuffed into the drain bucket. I needed to put three hose clamps on it to undo the kinks so water could pass through it. The unit is very quiet even on turbo. However turbo is more like a medium setting. This unit moves less air then the GE dehumidifier this replaced and it was also a 30 pint. This thing looks better on paper then in real life. I personally find the "comfortable" setting useless but do like that it has an automatic defrost function. The power cord is longer than others which is a plus.

This product does a great job at taking the humidity out of my condo which is just over 1,200 square feet. I love the different settings and the ease of use. As a woman of a certain age I thought I would have trouble emptying the water bucket but it couldn't be easier. There's a little handle for carrying and I use the water to water my plants so it doesn't go to waste. It's a great buy. I'm very pleased.

I purchased this dehumidifier for the my very damp and humid basement . I was a little hesitant since didn't no much ,neither heard about this particular brand, but after reading some reviews I decided to try it. It works great and is amazing how much moist is removed from the area I place it. I like the fact that it shuts off when the tank is full.
