My husband loves playing video games and he was always asking me to play with him. We have a PS4 but their are not many games we can play together. So, I got a Nintendo Wii for his birthday and we are having lots of fun playing together. He still plays his PS4 but when he wants me to play he turns the Wii on :)

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my wife, and turns out I'm the one who plays it more lately. Lot's of new games and fun to play it with the family. Also if you do buy this item, make sure you apply the Geek Squad Protection on it especially if you have younger kids. This console will never get old.

I love to play video games and I presently own several different systems. I bought the wii u because I love to play Nintendo games, Mario and Zelda in particular. Nintendo has added some great features with the wii u, for instance, the game pad. However, as far as quality goes the wii u is definitely not the best on the market right now. If you are an avid Nintendo fan and love your Mario and Zelda then I would recommend the wii u. If you are looking for a high tech and high def. gaming experience I would go with the Xbox 360 or playstation.

I have had so much fun with this whole system, I have a god amount of games for it now and it honestly is alot of fun. Nintendo never lets you down. My first game system was a Nintendo, it has fun games that are just fun and no violence games i can play with anyone. Loads of fun and highly recommend it.

Great family friendly console. Most of the games ive seen for the wii u are totally kid appropriate. Get this for your kid if you want to get rid of their notion to play black ops or some other violent game. Its also great for implementing a little more exercise time on your kid without them even knowing it.

The WiiU is a good break from all the next Gen consoles. Replaying Mario in 3D brings back all the childhood memories of playing Mario. The handheld unit is a little big for the little ones. So be sure to get a Wii Remote for the little ones

My son loves his wii u. the only thing i don't like is that you can't play dvds on it and i feel like for the price you should be able too like the xbox and play station. you can however play old wii games on the wii u and download games straight from the console as well as watch netflix and youtube.

This thing is amazing. My four year old loves it. The only downfall is the initial set up is time consuming with updates (takes about 90 minutes). Each game requires an additional 15 minute update the first time you load it. The Disney/Marvel Infinity 2.0 is tons of fun. Mariokart 8 is a blast for everyone.

When I bought this I didn't realize how amazing this console was. My son can play on the tablet that comes with it while I watch tv. Amazing! Because it's Nintendo we can all play the Mario games I grew up with and love. We play this console the most in my house. It's great for kids and nostalgic adults.

Bought this for the grandkids. They are on it constantly. Easy for them to use at 4 and 6 years old. They can play games together or one can watch tv while the other continues to play on the main tablet controller. Another combo is one can watch tv while the other watches netflix on the tablet controller.

I bought this for my fiance and have enjoyed using as well. It was well-packaged, has lasted us a few months and will probably continue for more to come. I never owned a Wii before and it was easy to understand how to use the controller. Only comes with 1 controller, I bought a Wii remote seperately.

Originally I thought this would be just another replacement for the Wii, however I was surprised at how much my son enjoys the system. An added benefit is that they can actually play the console in another room from the controller so there is no need for them to take up a TV when playing. Great console.

I was reluctant to buy anothr Nintendo system after being let down by the Wii. The Wii U however was everything I wanted the Wii to be. I've become reinvested in all of the old games I used to love playing and I now play it more than my PS4. It's a ton of fun. A no-brainer purchase for any Nintendo fan.

I was very reluctant to purchase this system following my excruciating hate for the first Wii system. However Nintendo has finally outdone themselves and made up for their shameful past system. Upgraded graphics, innovative ideas and all around fun. Definitely recommend getting Smash bros. for it ASAP!

We loved our first Wii and the fact that all our purchases transferred is wonderful. We can pick up where we left off and now with 2 little ones we can still play while they watch TV or can quietly play after they go to bed. Looking forward to trying out some of the dance and fitness games too!

Incredible gaming system, i'm more of a playstation fan, but once Smash Bros was released i had to get a WII U, have had it for almost 2 months now, and its great. The nintendo games look amazing, and the game play is pure fun. Great system to own, if you have kids, or friends that come over to play.

Basically got this console just to play smash brothers and Mario kart but so far it has been worth it. The new controller is impressive.

I've been wanting a Wii U for awhile. So when I finally got this bundle and tried it out, I loved it!! The two games that came with this bundle was really fun to play and setting up the console and learning to use the game pad was very easy. I definitely will be buying tons of games for my Wii U!

Bought the Wii U as it seemed it was time to upgrade from the old Wii. Of course the graphics are much better and the included games are good too. My old Wii games seem to work with no problems. I did need to purchase the newer motion plus controllers since most of the newer games require them.

Nintendo latest video console doesn't disappoint. Materials and workmanship are excellent, and the gameplay is innovative. I love that you can fully play Super Mario 3D World using the gamepad. Nintendoland is a fun experience for players of any age range. Be ready to invest in other Wii motes.
