Bought this system for me kids. Love the feature where one person can play on the game pad while another person can use the tv. Very convenient and versatile. Mario and the other games are very fun for younger kids. Very appropriate

So far, I love my Wii U! The included games are fun. Super Mario 3D world looks great on the Wii U and Nintendoland is great fun with a group of people

Easy to set up, awesome games, love the pro controllers, looks great on its stand. Awesome to play with friends and family. Great for 1st party games!

Nintendo is not dead yet! The Wii U is wonderful! My sister and I picked up a Wii U and the PS4 destiny bundle for Christmas. Both systems are amazing in their own ways. The Wii U takes what was good about the Wii and improves on them leaps and bounds. The Wii U bundle came with 2 awesome games for the family. We are also enjoying the game pad. It's different and I thought that it would be a little hard to use while gaming, but surprisingly it wasn't. It has a lot of cool features that you can use with your other devices. Go ahead, give it a shot.

I held off on getting a Wii U. I didn't see the need. And then Mario Maker happened. I have to tell you - the touchscreen is *NOT* a gimmick - it's a straight up feature. I would recommend this to anyone who has ever enjoyed a Nintendo video game. Don't let the possibility of some other NX console next year scare you off - don't miss out on the fun to be had today. You need this console. You need to play Mario Maker.

As an old guy I had the original Nintendo and the various versions of it as I was growing up. For my kids I gave them the original Wii which they played until it died. I got this system as a Christmas gift my Children to replace the one they killed and they have been having a blast. Currently they have been busy with Mario (the game that came with the system) and Disney INFINITY. Despite the fact that I have to convince them to turn the system off I am more than happy with the purchase and all the family fun we have playing together.

I purchased this for my significant other, and he absolutely loves it! It's super simple and user friendly. Definitely worth the price!

If you have kids then buy this asap!!! It is so fun for the family and downloading the old school Mario has been a blast from the past

The Wii U is a lot of fun. Easy to set up, easy to pick up and play. Gamepad controller adds a lot of fun the the gaming experience.

I purchased this product when my old Wii finally wore out. It is a great investment. We use it every Friday night for Family video game night. (And other nights also.) There are a variety of new games to play. I love that my Wii games are able to be played on this console and my old controllers are still usable. You can play some games right on the console or put the games to the big screen tv. It was a bit more expensive than the mini wii console, but by far a better choice. Nintendo has outdone themselves again.

My kids (3, 5, 7) call the game Mario Cats and they love it. All three of them love it. I put on a screen protector and they pad is great. They love that the most. My 3 year old is happy that he beat "Browser" (Bowser). My husband and I like playing with them too. Major difference with the pad. Get a Disney Infinity and you can't lose.

This console works great and Nintendo has some good games available for it. It has been great fun for my children and myself.

Got so frustrated with xbox 360-- every game we got forced more storage than it came with, demanded more money or some kind of membership. Kinnect always frustrated the kids-- but THIS THING WORKS! Kids love it, and we can play games together. Friends can bring over a controller and join in easily . Very multi-player friendly, and reliable-- plus you actually own what you buy, which makes me happy.

Bought this item for my kids. they play it a lot, and so do I. Lot of great games, where one as an adult you can really enjoy.

The kids are all agog over the Nintendo Wii U, and the bundle that Best Buy put together over Black Friday was pretty impressive. We got 4 games with the system, all of which the kids are having a blast with. It may not be a hard-core gamer system, but its got enough juice to impress me. Graphics are excellent, the new games are fun and we love the fact that the older WII games can still be played.

I've owned every Nintendo console ever made and the N64 was always my all time favorite. The Gamecube was disappointing and the Wii was fun but I had issues with it (like lack of HD). The Wii U fixes everything about the Wii that bugged me and adds an awesome, innovating new controller to boot. You won't find as many games on the Wii U as you will with the Xbox and Playstation, but all the first party games are great. Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros alone make this system worth the purchase.

To be honest I really like the technology of the Wii, Everything made with a pretty quality materials. All parts look great etc... I bought it for my kids after a long period of trying NOT to purchase it. And I give up defending, but now another battle about \how long they will spend time with wii. According to my observations if you don't limit the time that your kids play with the wii, they will never stop playing. They wont even feel they are hungry they need to use restroom etc. Cons: After purchasing this Do NOT think it is over... You suppose to purchase motion controllers (each $39.99+tax and at least you need 2) You need to purchase a lot of AA batteries or Rechargeable batteries and Charge station (fair ones starts from $20) and also if your kids are playing wildly you need to purchase a case for the pad controller too. ( I did not purchase it yet )

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 9 yr old daughter. Great console with many games which can be enjoyed playing together.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this product. My reasons were because there might not be many games I would play on the console, or I might be too stuck to other game consoles. I have the PS3, PS4, and now the Wii U. I love this console just as much as the play stations, sometimes even more. The Wii U pad can double up as a TV remote controller and TV screen. There are apps on the Wii U, just like the play stations. You can make your own Mii characters also. It's worth the buy!
