I had been wanting the Wii U for quite some time now. I had finally saved enough money and purchased it. It met all of my expectations. It is sleek and easy to store. It does not take up much room and there are great games coming out for it. The line up now is amazing. You have Smash, Mario Kart 8, Mario Party, DK Freeze and many more. I can also use my amiibos on certain games which I am very happy about. Everything has worked perfectly and do not have any complaints.

This is my first video game system and I love it. It's so easy to use and has a great variety of games to chose from!

I got the WiiU for my kids (6 and 4 years old) at Christmas. I was hoping they would like Mario 3D World as it's up to 4 players and you can play as Peach and Rosalina. I try to support games with female characters as it's really frustrating for my daughter to have to play games where there's only boys. The whole family had great fun playing together and I would highly recommend the WiiU for parents. We also had a lot of fun playing Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 as a family.

Definitely better than the original wii. Not a big game selection yet, but it will get there. And it was on sale!

I've been playing games for a looong time, and a lot of that time was with the original NES. now Nintendo has an HD system, with imaginative games that are sure to pique the interests of TRUE gamers. And if you're an old guy like me, and looking for a bit of nostalgia, the estore and virtual console has a great collection of classic games! Plus it is backwards compatible with all your wii games, so that's a bonus. Many more features to go over, but dude, the games.

Was thrilled to find out that our wii controllers and games were compatible. Was looking for a new console for Christmas but with controller and purchasing games the price was looking prohibitive. With the Wii u we got a next gen console and with our previous controllers the whole family could play along at an affordable price. The U game pad is a great addition to the game experience and offers new ways of enjoying your console. Fun games come with this package.

We bought this game console with my 5 year old son in mind, but in reality the entire family has been enjoying it. The game it comes with is great because up to 4 people can play at once, which makes it great so the kids don't fight, and all while including us in the fun as well. The main remote pad is great. I love the fact that it can be used independently of the TV so the kids can play a game or watch Netflix while we are using the tv for other things.

My family and I have had a lot of fun with the Wii U. The games are kid friendly. I would recommend the Wii U

i bought this for my grand son he loves ,loves ,loves it easy for him to play wasn't to hard either he picked it right up and now is a pro !!! he is only 6 great system for him to learn on and has a lot of games for kids . Also the controllers are easy to learn and great for the smaller hands . I plan on getting one for our house also i want the fitness games so i can use it too . I Tell all my friends who have kids or grand-kids this is a great system to get

My twins got an Xbox One a year ago but we decided to pool our money together for a Wii U. Mostly because they wanted to play Super Smash Bros. Found this amazing pre-Black Friday bundle and now my twins don't even fire up the Xbox One anymore. Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and other games keep them busy. They're talking about selling their Xbox One console. We'll see if that happens but for sure, the Wii U is a hit, especially with it's multi-player games.

I bought this game system for my boyfriend for Christmas. I never expected to love it so much as well! The Super Mario 3D World was so fun that we played for hours on end. I was also incredibly impressed in Nintendo Land. The games are really fun for groups (can be played with 2 people, but better with 3 or 4). This console was worth the money and more. It has been so fun and will continue to be a great source of entertainment for us in the future!

We have had a Wii for years, and this system is a great upgrade! The gamepad is a fun addtion as well!

The Wii U brings family back into gaming for us. Yes the Xbox and Playstaion are epic in their own ways. When you want to have a little old school Mario Kart split screen action with family or friends, I coudnt think of a better way to do it. There are some great games for the system and some junk games, no different than the Xbox or PS. If you have the cash and are contemplating buying this I would say pull the trigger, you wont regret it.

The much maligned WiiU has exceeded all my expectations. Granted, the Nintendo crowd (which I'm a part of) is a bit different than so-called "hard-core" gamers BUT this console is fantastic. The game pad is a natural extension of the system, and the performance thus far is excellent. Can't wait to push this console beyond the Mario world!

Me and my husband bought this because I love Mario Cart and he is great at Mario Cart and shows me all kinds of neat tricks! The game pad is so easy to use and is surprisingly comfortable to hold. Wish you could buy a second game pad to use with it! We're always trading off who uses it because it's so nice. The games are fun and family friendly so we don't have to say no to games when my niece and nephew join us.

I purchased the Nintendo WII U System Bundle at Christmas for two reasons. My grandchildren were coming to visit us at Christmas and I have wanted a video game for sometime now. The Mario Cart game was a big hit with the kids (although I did limit playing time to reasonable amount) and I find myself using it a couple of times a week. The system is well built and loads of fun to play. I would recommend it to anyone.

After owning all of the major consoles for quite some time now, this is still the closest to my heart. The games are very unique and beautiful. Smash Bros and Mario Kart look glorious in 1080p as do the other games and the experiences you can have on this console are so different than the other 2, which are very similar to each other. Whether getting a console for you or your whole family, this is a good choice.

The tablet/controller is great. Has some very unique games if a bit limited in quantity.

Bought this because my girlfriend won't play Xbox games with me. This thing is worse than a can of Pringles. We simply couldn't stop; the best/worst part is there is so much replay-ability in every game. I have never owned a Nintendo anything, but was pleasantly surprised that after the credits rolled on Mario 3d world, there were EVEN MORE worlds. I now own Mario Kart 8, Legend of Zelda: Windwaker, and Super Smash Bros as well. Whenever you have multiple people over, the phrase "one more round/race" always seems to pop up from the loser who thinks he can do better. The best part is it never gets old, no matter how many times you race a course or KO someone in smash; you want to do it again right away to see what happens the next time around. Another thing that's nice is you can pick it up for five minutes or five hours and enjoy the experience. A single cup of Kart or a Smash round only takes 5-10 minutes from boot up to shut down, or you can sit down to sail around on an adventure all weekend long. Far and away the best coop experience I've had with gaming. Really can be played "just for fun" and nothing more. When you work as a team, everyone wins. This is a super huge plus when you have a girlfriend/family member/friend who is just a casual gamer that doesn't want to get absolutely rekt every time we play (hence her not liking Xbox). Now that she enjoys playing the games, she is improving and getting way better. The only downside is I waited so long to get one.
