This was very easy to set up and use. The kids are ecstatic to have new system that plays Wii and WiiU games. Not sure the old games are getting much play, but the new ones are keeping them busy. It converts my HDTV into a SmartTV, so that's a bonus. Add ons we bought include the wireless remotes. Very good product for the cost and for extending life of games we already own.

no problems setting up and it gives a great gaming experience. Also great for wii games which can sometimes be $2 or $3. Does not play DVDs. Weird feature they left out, but not huge.

This is a Nintendo unit. It's more family oriented, but still has some great 'hardcore' titles in its list. There are a few annoyances, though, like not being able to turn off the WiiU screen controller completely (it must always be on, and you can only turn the battery-draining screen off for certain titles, even if you're playing with a gamepad or Wii controller).

It took awhile to get everything set up but now it runs like a champ. The handheld/controler isn't the best at holding a charge and it's big for little hands but otherwise no issues.

We recently upgraded from the wii to the WiiU bc our Wii stopped being able to read discs and Nintendo wanted too much money for us to mail it in and have it looked at. After getting the Wii U it was very easy to transfer our games and info over but was very time consuming. So far we have had no issues with the Wii U and it has already provided a lot of fun for parents, kids, grandparents! It is fun being able to play games with the kids that don't require complicated controls. The Wii also makes us adults feel like kids again by being able to play some of the old nintendo games. I wish they would continue to add more of these games.

Great console, great 1st party games - bundle was a very good deal.

I wanted a more kid-friendly gaming system than Playstation or Xbox. Wii U is it. The graphics are greatly improved and my kids love the new game controller. Although we bought some additional games for the Wii U, my kids have primarily played the 2 that came with the system - Nintendoland and Super Mario 3D World. Many of the games for the Wii U are under $20 now.

The gamepad has poor battery life but overall happy with the purchase. I do love it that I can play certain games while someone else is watching a movie using the gamepad.

I bought this for my brother who loves all kinds of video games. He plays on it almost every night, especially because I bought him the Super Smash Bros (great game too). It's a great deal because you get two games and the WiiU! Not only that but the WiiU is backwards compatible so you can play games that you have for the first Wii. Definitely worth the buy.

This is the first game console I bought for myself and I LOVE IT. I waited because I wasn't sure about how I would feel about the touch screen controller.. But it is fab - so much easier to use then the original Wii system controller. But this deluxe Wii U is awesome with extra memory and surprisingly fun built in games. I play it almost everyday :)

Are you looking for a gaming system that actually allows you to play video games other than Call of Duty with your significant other? Then look no further. The Wii-U is fantastic for couples who want to play video games together--games that everyone will enjoy. Who doesn't love Mario Kart? Mario Party? Smash Bros? Just buy this. You won't regret it.

This console has a lot of perks to it. Being able to use the controller to play games and interact with them is a blast. Even the ability to have the tv off and not be in the same room to play is a great feature. Just don't stray too far from the console or it will have connection issues. We did find the Nintendo store to be lacking in some ways. It will charge sales tax on games bought through it. One down side is moving your information from the Wii to the Wii U is that you cannot use the points on the Wii to make purchases in the Wii U store. The games included are a lot of fun and great for all ages to play.

We love the wiiu. It's so easy to use and the games are great.

We debated when our Wii did replacing it with the WiiU or an Xbox. We decided on the WiiU for a few reason. Pricepoint-WiiU is less. Games-the Xbox games seem geared towards older children and teens Cons-I don't like that we can not get it connected to our internet. Also do not like that there is only one controller. Can you buy another controller? I am still not clear on that. Mario game-my son says its not a "regular" Mario game. He is 8 and now wants the other super Mario game.

After owning a Wii several years ago and reading the reviews for all the current gaming systems, we decided to take a chance on the Wii U. Ultimately it was a great decision given the the types of games we could play as a group and have all ages involved. The multiple screen play is a bit gimmicky, but does add some benefit to the game play. My only dislike for the system is the complexity of the setup, mostly around the on-line networking component (which we could care less about). An incredible amount of time is spent setting up and managing the user profile as compared to getting the system up and running.

The new wii pad is pretty interesting to get the hang of, the Mario game included is a riot. New 3D game plus involving 3 additional friends can pass the time with endless fun. I bought this bundle in anticipation of the new Super Smash Bros, and it was well worth the money. A must buy for plenty of new games that are fun on this underrated system.

When we were looking to upgrade our console system we looked at all three of the current offerings. We decided on the Wii U mainly due a wider selection of games geared toward family. The system works great and our youngest can use the hand-held device when the TV is already occupied. Now if I can just figure out how to beat him at Mario Kart 8.

I purchased this for my little brother and ended up on the couch for hours playing Mario 3D World! I enjoyed every second of it as well. Other platforms don't offer games that two different generations would both enjoy playing and the Nintendo is unique in that regard.

You don't get the usual games that area in other consoles, you get a different experience with Wii U. I was bored about the same games with different names that get published these days, then there are Nintendo games that I find magical, fun and get a lot of replay value, also local multiplayer is a must. I'm satisfied and playing every day.

The video game world, I feel, overlooked this system for awhile. And I myself am guilty of it too. But with the release of Mario Maker, I can no longer ignore it. Mario Maker, alone, is enough reason to buy a Wii U. But then add Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros, Splatoon, ZombieU and buying this console is a no-brainer.
