The new Wii is a nice upgrade, better graphics and new features. The big difference though is the game pad that comes with it. You can play games directly on it or play on the regular tv. The game pad is required for some games as you need the ability to have the additional controls it contains which are not on the regular wii remotes.

Whereas many people opt for the xbox one or ps4 for their FPS, MMORPG, etc...games, we opted for the Wii U for aggressive family battles. We only have Mario Kart 8 so far but we've had tons of fun and lots of arm-punching. For what the system provides in terms of in-game peer-to-peer audio and media-consumption it is a bit over priced, if this was maybe $200 or $220 it would make more sense. Essentially we just saved money to buy it because we love Nintendo. It isn't BB's fault for the pricing, but I'm definitely looking at you Nintendo... Anyway, fun for the whole famdamnly.

Even as an adult who enjoys Xbox gameplay, the Wii still allows for more family-oriented and fun game nights. Good console, good games, easy to set up. It's good!

I haven't touched a Nintendo console since the GameCube, but I am extremely impressed with the Wii U. The Gamepad is surprisingly intuitive, and the inclusion of standard gaming staples (two analogs/four shoulder buttons/four face buttons) is very nice when wanting to play a regular play former. Very happy with this purchase.

I picked up the Wii U not more than a couple months ago, and I am incredibly thrilled with my purchase. I play it way more than I was expecting, and I really like how there's always something that I want to play. The gamepad makes for pretty convenient alternative for when you want to play while watching TV or in another room.

Love the new Wii! Really like how everything is set up and the new controller too even though the size is something to get used to with the screen on it.

I bought this for my daughter, for Christmas.we had the older Wii game and had lots of fun with it, but the new Wii U is a vast improvement. She has a 3DS and was surprised to find the controller for the Wii U functions much like the DS, but more sophisticated. Visually it's very exciting to watch and to play. We both love it!

I got this for my son for his birthday and it was worth every penny. The games look very clear and play very nicely with the included game pad.As a gamer I want to play games on this with him and by myself.

I love my Wii U - it's a unique system based around using the Wii U Gamepad. If you're obsessed with always having the beefiest graphics capabilities, then the Wii U is probably not for you. The focus here is satisfying gameplay and there are more than enough games to justify the purchase of a Wii U in my opinion.

Held off on buying one for a while since I already had the Wii, but I don't regret it for an instance. Love the updated graphics and the whole vibe of the new system itself. Beyond simple to install even if it takes a bit to get through all of the steps. Also love how simple it is to still play all of my old Wii games.

didnt care much for the wii, so I was a little concerned until I played the model in the store....five minutes of Mario kart 8 and I knew we needed it! I was originally disappointed to get the set with Krio world 3D instead of the mariobroyhers package, but. Y husband I love he game and are really happy with our purchase.

I love the wii U! its a great deal to buy it with the game! I have had Nintendo systems growing up and at first i was a little skeptical to why the WiI U uses a game pad now but its actually makes thing better. You can also acceces you Netflix and Hulu as you did on the wii but watch it on the game pad or the tv.

Santa brought our kids this fabulous wii console. It took us only about an hour to install before we could cruise around and explore/play the games and features. My only beef is that there was no remote plus or nunchuck included, both of which are needed for most other games except for what is included in the package.

Went with the Wii U over the Xbox One & PS4. Wii U has such a great selection of titles (Especially if you are a Mario & Zelda fan). I bought it for the new Smash Bros Game and it does not disappoint. One of my all time favorite games. For anyone with kids or friends interested in the same stuff this is a must buy.

Got this for my 7yr old son for Christmas and now his 3yr old brother even plays it. So do I. Wireless controllers are a major plus. I dont think Mario World 3D and Mario Kart 8 have left the console since they opened it Christmas morning. Even though they have other games. Even the 3yr old can play Mario 3D world.
