This blu-ray is just what the doctor ordered for anyone who liked the Planet Earth series from the BBC. The photography is second to none and it worth watching several times. This is a must have for the lover of nature documentaries.

This is a two disk set about life in the Pacific Ocean. It provides good information about animal and plant life in the remote areas of the Pacific. Stunning photography and surround sound make a good home theater experience.

This is a part of my BBC Earth collection - Planet Earth, Life, Africa, Frozen Planet, Human Planet, etc. Decent content and a/v quality but narration is simply not as good when not done by sir Attenborough. I would probably recommend Planet Earth and Life as they provide more bang for your buck.

This was an excellent choice. I have enjoyed watching it with my grand kids. The footage is exceptional

Videos were great. Gave history on the pacific and the origins of them.

I picked this up for $10 at Best Buy and it was a steal. As to be expected, this BBC doc explores parts of the world, the animals, etc. that are rarely examined by other documentaries. There is a decent amount of focus on the native peoples. As a fan of these for the wildlife, I wasn't really excited for the human parts but it was very interesting none the less. The video quality goes from excellent to good depending on what/where it was shot. I did miss David Attenborough's presence, but Benedict Cumberbatch filled in nicely.

Beautiful scenery, filming, and very educational. It explores the landscape, wildlife, and cultures.
