The Wild Thornberrys is one of the most entertaining and intellectual family-friendly animated series out there. They simply do not make kids shows like this anymore, at all. This is a great show that the whole family can watch and have fun with. It stimulates the brain, making it necessary for the viewers to pay attention and it also gives information about animals and other species all around the world. This is surely one of the best cartoons and has everything you could want, family values, fun adventures, and educational information in fun ways. The show follows the young adventurous Eliza Thornberry who was granted the power to communicate with animals. She travels around the world with her father and host of a nature show, Nigel, her mother which films the show, Maryanne, her older sister Debbie, her friend chimpanzee Darwin, and wild boy foster-brother Donnie. Any fan of the original will jump to buy this 20-episode set with some of the best episodes of the series. And anyone who has yet to see the show and is looking for some good wholesome family-friendly fun, this is the show for you. The only downside is the fact that this is a bare-bones edition. Meaning there are no special features, just the episodes. But that should not stop you from getting this set, it didn’t stop me! It’s tons of fun to watch Eliza and her family travel the world and uncovering the secret wonders of the animal kingdom. So go out and get your copy, because you don’t want to miss out on this classic!
