It was definitely fun watching this in the cinema. Glad I own a copy. Definitely had a lot of scary moments. I can honestly say this film made me jump a couple of times as I was watching. Definitely a must own and great edition to the collection.

Love movies based on real places and people and this one did not disappoint in the premise. Could have been a whole lot scarier, but it did the job of creating suspense with great acting by Helen Mirren and the supporting cast.

I have always been knowledgeable about the Winchester family curse but even if your not you will be after you see this movie. Helen Mirren is amazing! This was so well done. I have watched it many times and always see something new!

My wife and I have visited the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA many times and familiar with the real story. This movie is not biographical, but an interesting spin on a portion of Sara Winchester's life. It was nice seeing the film footage taken at the actual mansion and grounds.

This movie was entertaining and very enjoyable to watch, I would totally recommend this to family and friends… Movie had a good story line/plot pretty good acting and again pretty enjoyable… If you’re a fan its a must watch.

I was unaware of this house and its history. The movie is, I believe, based on the actual house and its occupants. It was a well told story that moved along at a good pace and made for interesting viewing.

This movie kept me interested in watching it. It's a movie based on true facts but had plenty of scary moments in it, even the 2nd time watching it.

Saw this movie and the theater and thought is was good, but not quite so scary. Decided to add it to my collection and realized that in the confines of home, the movie takes on a much scarier vibe.

Visited the Winchester House at San Jose and was surprised that a movie was filmed. Excellent Helen Mirren performance. Overall good.

I just wish that the house was just a house. To add on is fine. To have spent that much money and to have the builders working around the clock, it should be so much better than what it is.

I found the movie to be visually intriguing. While they may have exaggerated the actual events it's a scary story! Makes me want to go take a tour of the house itself! Will watch again!

This was a very good movie to depict the Winchester Mansion and the strange construction practices that were developed to hide the spirits that haunted it. Not boring at all!!!

Loosely based on actual events, The main character is the Winchester mansion itself it has been debated for decades whether the estate is actually haunted or not. Whether you believe in the paranormal or don’t this film is well worth buying good acting, well written good cinematography. Not for children therefore not a family movie. Don’t rent, go ahead and buy, you will want to watch a second time.

Good take on the Winchester family legend. I believe Stephen King's Rose Red miniseries was also based on this story.
