I'm a huge fan of writer Taylor Sheridan and this, his directorial debut, is a must see film! This was one of my favorite films of 2017 and it's a crime that it was completely overlooked by the Oscars. Jeremy Renner is outstanding. Elizabeth Olsen is good and Gil Birmingham is heartbreaking in it.

This movie blew my mind in many ways! This shows that Movies don’t necessarily need action and explosions. Just a great story and interesting characters that make the movie thrive with their dialogue

Elizabeth Olsen delivers the goods in this well written and directed thriller that will be sure to entertain fans of the genre. Excellent cinematography and editing bring this film into the realm of high art. Jeremy Renner holds his own and brings an incredible and emotional performance to the feature.

Jeremy Renner has become one of the best actors in the business and he doesn't disappoint in this feature. It's a gripping movie that'll pull you in and keep you interested right to the very end. It's definitely my favorite movie of the year so far this year. And I recommend it to everybody I know.

An excellent understanding of the unfortunate events that occur and we are oblivious to. This director is going to do big things with the next films he does following this. I believe anyone who watches this will love it. However, the film’s pace is a LITTLE slow, so it does require some patience.

Have now, after seeing it in a theater, watched this film four more times. The story is exceptional. Jeremy Renner is at his best. Elizabeth Olson is perfectly cast. The direction reminds me of Arrival or Scicario. The ending is unexpected. Rent this film or buy this film. It's a must see.

A true telling of what happens on our Indian reservations. Movie is based on a true story. A lot of intrigue and action. There is one that will indelibly stay in my mind. Get ready for a great movie!

A great slow burn thriller about a young naive FBI agent who travels to freezing Wyoming to investigate a homicide near Indian reservation land with the help of a hardened Fish and Wildlife officer who has a tragic past. The bleak cinematography perfectly complements the adept direction and solid acting especially from Renner. Audio and video quality are top notch and the extras are on the light side, some video interviews mostly with scene clips.

As amazing as this movie is, I was totally blown away when I discovered it was based on actual events. The location is beautiful, the actors are amazing and the story is worth seeing again..(I saw it in the theater)...The 4K HDR makes the film jump out and grab you!

My wife and have not seen seen this in the movie theater yet, since it didn't play over here, and are looking forward to seeing this movie when our BluRae video arrives and are glad we were able to purchase it on BestBuy and will be able to watch it any time we want.

Wind River is a murder-mystery journey and a revenge story in the same token. There is a little bit of commentary in the film but it never lingers too much on it to be a distraction. The film lives in a cold environment and I felt it watching this. A must see film.

They don't make movies like that anymore. That's the first thing I said after watching this engrossing character drama that appears to be your standard murder mystery, but is actually a much deeper film-going experience. Can't recommend this one enough!

I would say that this is a murder mystery, and so much more. The backdrop of the story is really the Wind River reservation and details of the lives of the inhabitants are sort of "in your face". Still a very well staged mystery and quite rewarding.

If you want a cold climate and thriller with a slow build to a great climax, pick this up, I did as a blind buy, I had only seen pictures of the cover and a snippit on Youtube. It was worth every penny when I got this one. Its based on true events.

This movie is tragic, brutal, and in some ways unexpected. It is also beautifully shot and very well acted. I finished the film both feeling punched in the gut and wanting to watch it again.

Jeremy Renner and Liz Olsen do a great job heading this mystery adventure in the Snow packed predator infected Indian reservation. Wild Life hunter Renner is now hunting more than just mountain lions . Very good story inspired by true events .

I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided to watch this movie but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great suspense / thriller movie. Jeremy Renner and the rest of the cast are outstanding. I've already watched several times.

Wind River is a dark, mysterious movie. Taylor Sheridan does a great job in his directorial debut. If your a fan of the other two films that he's written, Sicario and He'll or High Water, then chances are you will enjoy this one as well.

Wind River is a good movie because it is about Natives and also happens in the great state of Wyoming, my favorite state!!! The plot was awesome and the ending was unexpected. It held my attention from beginning to end.
