    I bought the Windmill AC unit (model W1W31) from Best Buy, and it does not perform. Sure, it blows air—but it doesn’t cool the room at all. It feels like a $400 fan, not an air conditioner. Total waste of money. I contacted Windmill, and all they offered was a replacement. I don’t want another bad product—I want a refund. They kept pointing to the room size, which is irrelevant because the unit doesn’t blow cold air, just slightly cool like a fan. It’s clearly defective. Windmill told me to contact Best Buy for a refund, but Best Buy is ignoring the issue and hiding behind their 15-day return policy. It wasn’t even hot during the first week I had it, so I couldn’t test it properly until the return window closed. This product does not work as advertised, and under customer protection laws, I should be entitled to a refund. If I need to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get someone to take this seriously, I will. Avoid this unit. Don’t waste your money on the Windmill W1W31.

    AC started making very loud noises only 1 year after purchase. Already have to replace the unit. Poor quality.
