This is a better product than Windows 8. It is more user friendly for people who are used to earlier versions of Windows.

I bought on the recommendation of the Apple rep in the store.

I bought this to re-install software on what ended up being a bad hard drive. I made the mistake of not making a recovery disk, so I had to buy it. The install went easily, and my back up files loaded without issue.

It is easy to use and I enjoy seven very much--I will be sorry to see it phased out when it happens.

Needed to have an older Dell fixed- needed new software cause Vista is no longer available. Works fine.

I need the Win. 7 program for my Auto Shop Diagnosis results and I have not been able to get it to load properly I keep getting a code stating :"Loading" and it does not load it just stays on that screen!!! I looked on the internet about this error and found that is is very COMMON. The programers that programed Win 7 obviously haven't been able to correct this issue and it requires additional work for the layman to load it which should be unnecessary.

I had windows xp a 2005 computer it wasn't completely compatible with all my hardware and software.

I had way too much trouble with Win 8. I was glad to find my computer was compatible with Win 7, so I changed the operating system. Win 7 is far easier to work with. Very glad to be rid of Win 8.

I love my Envy computer.. The only bad thing is the salesman sold me a printer also.. But Im upset to find out weeks later that their is a Envy printer to match my computer, and he never offered it to me. He just suggested the HP Photosmart 6520.. Confused why he wouldnt suggest the pair, seeing moneyu was no option. I never knew of the matching printer until I was shopping with a friend a BJ's and saw it for as much money as I spent..

I gave the software 5 stars, but I have not installed it yet. I have Windows 7 on another desktop and bought this one to replace XP on another home desktop based on how good it has been on my main desktop. A lot better than XP and Windows 8.

The Windows 7 CD said on the package it was for OEM. I ask the Geek Squad and was told even though is says OEM it would also upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7. The Geek Squad was correct and all I did was place the CD in my computer and the CD upgraded my Windows Vista To Windows 7. I just sat back and watched. It did take 2 to 3 hours to complete the upgrade.

The upgrade to Windows 7 was very easy to install. The system took care of all my needed updates after changing over, and the platform is very easy to use.

I haven't had a chance to look and find everything about Windows 7 yet, still learning it and have only came across a couple of things that I don't understand but will get ahold of the Geek Squad when I get thru checking it out. I loved my XP and am having a hard time getting used to no Outlook Express; I'm not enthused with these other email programs I've had to go to but at least I can find my pictures & documents on "7", which I had a terrible time finding on "8".

Replaced OS after hard drive drive failure. SW worked as expected and the ordering process went well.

I bought a new HP Envy and hated it until I replaced 365 (8.1) with 7.0. Now I am enjoying it.

It took some time but everything seems 2 have came togetter.so far everything is working fine.

Installed on my Wind 8 machine, works fine. Bought a new computer with windows 8, wanted windows 7. Windows 7 is a good OS

All the feature you would expect from XP but more.

I have not been able to either install the new operating system on a computer running XP Service Pack 2 or decipher the cryptic error messages. Documentation of installation procedures and potential problems were insufficient. I'll have to have the Geek Squad do the update after wasting an hour attempting to do it myself.
