Alison Krauss is an award winning singer for a reason. This woman has an angelic voice that would make the toughest man cry. Every single cover on this album was done beautifully. The background vocals provided by Jamey Johnson and Dan Tyminski were great too. With that being said, however, if you like REAL country music i.e. not any "Country" songs done by Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, or Sam Hunt, then please do consider this album! You won't regret it!

Some of you may not know this super star faced a problem with her voice some time back. Well she is all better folks and these tunes, like all the rest in her long list prove it Big Time. Tickets to the Rochester Jazz Festival are on sale soon and this beauty is going to be a headliner. Don't care where you're from - come on down. The Eastman Theater is one sweet place to hear a high caliber voice like this one. See you there!!

I have always been a big time fan of Alison Krauss and Union Station. Her voice is one like an angel. I do like this solo album of hers. It has a good collection songs, some old, and some new. It has only 10 tracks, which is a bit disappointing, but if you like her music, you won't be disappointed.

wow, finally a new Alison krauss record. its been awhile, I guess she had voice issues. anyway shes no longer on rounder? this capital records release is well produced with a 60s/70s Nashville country sound. if you like Alison, you will have already bought this. it is not bluegrass.

Alison Krauss has a beautiful voice and it has been many years since she released a solo album. I was excited when I saw there was this new release and she does not disappoint. Although it is not bluegrass, it does show a nice range of country songs from the past. Any chance to listen to Alison is a delight.

I own exactly 1 Alison Krause album (this one). I had an idea of what to expect... friends suggested I take the leap. I did. It is amazing. Her voice is like spun gold. Tight musicianship. She makes these songs come to life.. again. So glad I have this in my collection now.

She's been one of the most decorated female artists for many years and continues to put out great original and cover tunes all while not being a total sell-out mainstream artist. This is another album worth purchase!

She has the smoothest voice, softer music on this album than I have previously experienced with her. More relaxing than much other music in my collection

When you like certain performing Artists, you don't mind purchasing their new release CDs as soon as they come out. Nice to know I can still pick them up at Best Buy on sale without having to order them.

Very good effort by Allison. Allison is still expanding her sound and I am enjoying her growth covering some of the most well known songs ever recorded.

Allison's got a great voice that creates a mood singing other writer's songs. She is best, thought, together w/ her Union Station collaborators.

If you like Alison Krause, this CD is a softer less bluegrass album than usual. Some classic songs done well. Very pleasant listening.

For those of us that have been waiting for new Allison Krause music this CD more that fulfills the bill. Awesome new music and arrangements.

She and her band never rush out their music. Her latest CD is one of her best, refined and perfected with angelic voice like no other. Not a song on the CD is filler, it's all good.

Her voice is so timeless. She's a classy lady with a pure talent. Her songs tell a story and you can't help but let her transport you.

Awesome as usual! Alison Krauss can be depended upon to deliver beautiful music. The cd is exquisite in an old pleasant style.

I heard Alison Kraul on NBC Saturday morning show and really liked her sound. The CD has four great songs so the buyer gets their moneys worth when they make the purchase.

Great cd if you want to hear REAL country buy this cd this girl sing I would say to anyone yes buy this cd its great!

What's not to like here. Another fine set of songs to add to her collection.
