When I received the wine cooler only 4 of my 8 wine bottles fit in the cooler. I called Wine Enthusiast to complain and they referred me to a footnote as follows which was on their website "Shelving is meant to hold standard Bordeaux size bottles, using larger size bottles may limit the capacity. If you would like to store larger bottles you can easily remove any of the shelves." This is extremely disappointing since any wide or tall "non-standard" bottles do not fit. Also the racks are not very sturdy.

Bought this at Total Wines, got it home, filed with variously sized bottles, returned to Total Wines without ever plugging in. The design flaws are numerous and this model needs to be discontinued. Wider than normal bottles will not allow bottom two racks to slide out independently. Longer than average bottles will not fit several slots where the thermoelectric cooler protrudes. Really long bottles prevent door closure. Placement is restricted by front door that must swing a full 180 degrees before any rack will slide out. Does not accommodate BOX wines.
