Great picture ! Have a lot of nature and history documentary movies! Good to have! Am also a history buff! Besides being a nature lover!

If you like other BBC offerings like Planet Earth and Frozen Planet, you will very much enjoy this movie. The 3D version adds some real interest. There are camera angles where you seem to be flying right next to birds. Other camera views show enormous flocks of birds where you can see immense depth and feel part of the action. A great movie and great in 3D. The only drawback is my family enjoys hearing David Attenborough as the narrator. Unfortunately, he does not voice-over this movie. Still a valuable addition to our DVD Library.

I enjoy the 3D on lots of popular movies, but fairly quickly you forget it's 3D, but this documentary keeps you amazed through the whole thing. It is the perfect venue for showing off 3D. The birds fly toward you so that you reach out to touch them and there are very many instances like that where you really get to enjoy and be amazed by the 3D effect.

If you have not seen this film in 3D, you should. The way they filmed it is absolutely incredible. And the 3d was awesome. The birds are flying right in your living room.

3d is good, like your next to the birds. scenery is also good. I would recommend this as a good 3d movie to add to your 3d collection.

A really good documentary and some great 3D effects

I know that nature documentaries are not everybody's thing, but if you want to be blown away by what your 3d TV can do, it's hard not to be impressed by this. I don't know how they managed the aerial photography here, but it is simply astounding. Only the most gorgeous locations were chosen, and the sweeping, zooming shots keep "bird's eye view" from being a cliche.
