I had the original 3 LP vinyl album record set and have wanted to get it on CD for quite awhile. It's been re-mastered several times to CD several times. This set was a 2013 Best Buy Special Edition that included a Bonus CD.

It is great seeing this album (CD) back in circulation. I cut my musical teeth on such record albums in the '70s, but Wings Over America was one I could play only in my head for too many years until now. I'm no technical expert, but the quality of this restoration seems fine -- clear and seamless. The lineup of songs is identical to the original vinyl album, and Best Buy adds a third CD to this package with another live recording, this one from the Cow Palace in San Francisco. The eight songs on the bonus disc overlap, but the subtle performance differences in each bonus song makes for a worthwhile listen. The artwork is nearly identical to the original album, but the cardboard packaging is virtually paper-thin and will likely have you wishing for a sturdier assembly. Still, this is a faithful restoration of a classic album that any Wings/Beatles/Paul McCartney fan should rush to pick up.

I have always loved this McCartney and Wings show and it finally gets the remastering treatment it deserves. The sound is incredible and McCartney's supporting cast was vastly underrated. Denny Laine, Joe English, and Jimmy McCullough made a fabulous team. Gems such as Magneto and Titanium Man, Beware My Love and Time To Hide are wonderful additions to the already stellar Band On The Run, Jet, Silly Love Songs and Live And Let Die. Paul's bass POPS on this CD and Joe English is a fantastic drummer. The Best Buy exclusive bonus CD is also enough of a reason to buy this from Best Buy!!!

I compared the new remaster to my old vinyl from the 70's and (I know you hate this) but there is a place for both in my system - maybe not yours. I have a pretty decent Rega turntable and an older Yamaha CD player so take this with a grain-of-salt. My vinyl seems to place the space of the singers and instruments better in the sound field, but the CD is nice clean and punchy. To my ears, I don't hear any digital compression, so the new CD sounds nice and clean and really enjoyable - I really liked Richard Cory and Time to Hide on this CD. I didn't think the Cow Palace addition added much to the experience, but for a freebie thrown in, who can complain?

I attended a show in 1976 and the memories of this show are more apparent as I listen to this nice sounding version and I am glad I purchased this copy. I have the original album and countless live cd's of that era, but this is the quality I was looking for

I just got the remastered Wings Over America. beautifully remastered, excellent quality . with a bonus disc to boot. i have the european import thats out of print. the new cd seems not as bright as the old one, other than that, great purchase

I love the Beatles and Paul McCartney but somehow I did not own this when it was originally released. It is a great collection of Paul's work and includes many of my favorites. I really appreciate the bonus CD that Best Buy included. Every Beatles fan and Paul McCartney fan should own this!

Best Buy's exclusive extra disc from the Cow Palace is one of the store's best exclusives. The only other way to get disc would be to purchase the deluxe edition which would set one back 130.00 dollars. Thank you Best Buy

I have the original 3 LP set for this album that came out in the mid-70s and I loved the music then. The Best Buy version of this adds another CD to the set with some great live tracks. If you are a Beatles fan or an early McCartney fan then this is a must buy album.

Excellent concert of this iconic/legend Paul McCartney and his band Wings. Recorded at the apex of their fame and popularity, it captures a true Wings concert. Got to love the bonus disc limited to the Best Buy relase. A must for any Paul McCartney fan.

A wonderful concert when Paul and the Wings crew were at their best. Also the first US tour where Paul takes om some Beatle classics like "Yesterday", "Blackbird", and "Lady Madonna". The artwork on the inside of the cover is great.

I have this on vynil and always engoyed it but I don't get out the lps much anymore so the cd is much more convienient. Music still holds up nicely. Fun and well produced and recorded.... sounds great. Kind of an old school McCartney's greatest hits live.

Greatest live album of all time. Great to get the bonus CD without paying for the full box set. It would have been nice if the bonus disc had songs that were not on the original concert

This was a Best Buy exclusive and was a must have for me. I couldn't afford the deluxe box set and this price was excellent.

I am a lifelong fan of Paul McCartney, and this CD set is an excellent reissue. No problems with this at all.

Having gone to this concert, I have been waiting for this to finally be reissued. Great CD showing Sir Paul and Wings at the height of their career.
