The kids introduced me to wipeout and i am not really that good at it on a phone or tablet. on the Wii U i can challenge the kids. There are a lot of different characters. i have only played on 2 courses but it seem that there are a lot more.

Keeps the kids up and moving, they seem to enjoy this game alot.

My house is the local hangout for all kids in the neighbor hood and this game satisfies all of them so they can all play at once and laugh at each other's falls.

Love the TV show and the game is true to it. a new gamer will take a while to master it, but that just means you wipe out more often!! :)

Really good gift for first time Wii players gives them time to work out the Nunchuck will probably grow out of it pretty soon but the game was only $20 she loves so im happy.

As a fan of the TV show, i had some expectations for fun and hilarity from this game which is why i purchased this game knowing it was going to be a casual level of game play challenge. This game did not live up to expectations on all areas of desire from fans of the TV show. Controls are super simple: Hold forward and jump or duck under obstacles. The courses look nice and provide a good variety of visual appeal to the game, but the challenges are not as fun to play as they are to watch on the TV show. The only real satisfaction in playing the courses is to play poorly to see the replays of your character take all the hits from the obstacles. The Biggest let down of this game is the competition feeling of the Show. Each level is presented as an episode of the TV show but does not provide you any sense of challenge against rival competitors. Your time for competition of the courses are worthless as they don't matter for any progress in the game. If you can complete the course, you move on to the next round and eventually you win that episode of Wipeout. Because there is no challenge from competitors this game gets really boring quickly and does not provide any motivation to replay the game. Though i have not been able to try out the multi-player aspect of the game, i think the only real fun to be had in this game is play with multiple people where one person controls the course obstacles using the WiiU gamepad while the other players take turns trying to complete the obstacle course.

I expected when I bought the game that I would be participating in a great Wii U game where we would hop & jump and play the game with friends and family, but found it lacking such participation. It gets old after a few plays and get to be repetitive. I wished they had used the motion controls instead of console everyday controls. I would buy it for the kids to play, but it's a rent and NOT A GREAT BUY!
