I needed a quick replacement for a mouse that had died - this one worked well for a while, but about 6 months in, the scroll function is not quite working as it should, looks like I'll be looking for a replacement for this one before a year is up

It doesn't work - I scroll down, it goes up, I scroll up, it moves down. I wish I had read the negative reviews. Did you know that there is a website specifically for wireless mice and lenovo computers?
I have attempted to trouble shoot based on the website's suggestions and nothing.

great price, just assumed it would last. laser light seems to go out, tapping on my desk would make it come back on. Started intermittantly but is shot now. Nice thing about best buy however is insignia products can be takin back to the store durring the one year warranty. Going back today to return this and spend a little more cash on another one.

Advantage is that you don't have a wire, disadvantages are that it takes a USB port on the laptop and requires batteries.

I own a dell touchscreen laptop, but I bought this mouse primarily for gaming, because the computer's touch pad doesn't work well with games. My first usage went fine; I didn't detect any problems. I simply plugged it in, installed it, and used it. But the second time, it wouldn't pick up any movement. I tried replacing the batteries, but to no avail. I tried using a mouse pad, but again, no success. After a brief look over the weak instruction manual, I decided to try moving the mouse closer the the USB connector, and by closer I meant literally within an inch of it. It finally started working, but as you can imagine, this is a pain to use. Therefore I would recommend finding a different mouse.

have gone through 3 batteries in 10 days, works ok but it seems to burn through the batteries. I know it was cheap, but it shouldn't burn batteries that fast.

I purchased this mouse to use on job sites with my lap top and if one is to need clear and precise mouse movement on screen, then do not purchase this one. Yes it was cheap however this one is not even worth the amount I paid for it.

Tried to use it with my XP computer, but it would drop the signal every few seconds. Just frustrating, so returned it. Also the cursor movement setting was way too fast and I could not find how to adjust it.

one minute it was working fine, the next it just stopped working. I have to turn it off, then back on so the mouse sends the signal to the receiver.
