I looked at the reviews, this tracker watch is very well rated and I agree. It's comfortable , accurate and nice looking. This is what I was looking for, Withings has done a nice job with this product. I like to that it has other items that pair with it.

I will preface this by saying I have previously (and extensively) used both the Pebble and Moto 360.
When I read about the Withing's offerings, I was really excited for two reasons, one was battery life and the other was for the more conventional design. When I walked into the store, they did not have any display pieces but just one in the box. My first impression was that it looked a little too much like a kids swatch watch (I did previously see the Activite in preson, but comparing a $450 watch with a $150 watch isn't fair). The second thing I noticed was the little hump on the back (this watch is thick), but after wearing it, trust me, it sits very nicely on the hand.
Why did I buy it? - Sleep tracking and also, I travel a lot so looking for a watch that quickly changes to the timezone. And also, I was fed up with constantly charging my watch (everyday-360, once every 4 days-pebble).
Pros and Cons (after one week of use)
+ Beautiful design (for a smartwatch at $150)
+ Long battery life (supposedly 8 months)
+ Adjusts to timezones (a little catch here)
+ Very good at tracking sleep
- The app isn't very good but I can sync my data to iHealth and look at the dashboard there
- I have to open the app for it to adjust time to a new timezone
- Not a con for me personally, but if you are a big guy with broad hands, this might seem a tad on the smaller side
- Step count is on the lower side (not sure if it is more accurate than my other step tracking apps/devices but Ive never crossed 7000 steps here but I've crossed 10K mark pretty comfortably several times with the same routine with the other devices)
If you are considering getting a fitbit, please look at this.

I just purchased this for my wife and it arrived on Thursday. First, she had it set-up and going very quickly, the only slow down was the packaging. Second, She has an iPhone 4s so it really does work fine going back to that generation phone. Third, they fixed the issue with the bezel cracking. The glass in the Pop is the same that you get in most watches, the problem with the original release appears to have been with how it was being set in the manufacturing process. That has been fixed. Well, 4 days in, with 2 days in a pool, and no scratches or breaks. Fourth, waterproof, checks fine based on third comment. Fifth, the dials are easy to read except in very dark conditions as all it take is a glint of light to see the hands so the fact that they don't glow in the dark is fine for her. Sixth, I heard a concern about how much memory the watch has but it synchs to your phone so it really isn't an issue, just hold it nearby and it synchs automatically if you open the app and since it is a fitness tracker opening the app every few days seems like a pretty minimal task. Seventh, battery life of 8 months....amazing. Will update this when the battery dies to let folks know if the 8 months is accurate. BY FAR the best looking fitness tracker. The one day she wore it to work people commented on her new watch, when she mentioned it was a fitness tracker with all sorts of functionality, they were amazed, especially when she opened the app and they could see the steps synching as she described the watch further. Eighth, works with iPhone and Android but not windows phone, at least not yet.
Ninth, the black watches look very awesome and I plan on picking one up for me, just trying to decide if I want to go for the Activity or the Activity Pop. The primary difference is the glass and where it was manufactured. Oh, ninth, the watch size seems great.

This is the perfect compromise between a fitness tracker and smartwatch. A glance tells me the time and my steps. It looks like a regular watch but once you open the app it shows your steps including intensity levels and monitors your sleep pattern. I have a fitbit and the Withings Pulse but don't use them anymore. The Pop is accurate and waterproof. I used to always forget to grab my pulse when on the eliptical. This is always on my wrist! It is waterproof and the battery doesn't need charging...unlike my fitbit which was more often left in the charging cradle because I forgot about it.
I wish it had a heart rate monitor and a better looking strap. I think that Withings will be offering replacement straps in the future so i may pick one up.
A great purchase and am considering getting one for my wife to replace her Fitbit.

This is a set-it-and-forget it fitness device that is also a stylish watch. What I like best is that I don't have to charge it, set it, tell it when I'm sleeping or remember to sync it. It's also waterproof, so I never take it off. The sleep tracking and step tracking functions seem to work well, I haven't had a chance to use the swim tracking feature. I've had no trouble with it, after the initial setup it keeps time perfectly, looks great, feels comfortable and syncs automatically.
It doesn't get 5 stars because compared to my fitbit it doesn't have as detailed activity tracking and the app interface is good but not amazing. Integration with loseit is still pending, although it does integrate with myfitnesspal. On the other hand, I am likely to keep wearing it, and I usually stopped wearing the fitbit after a few months when my enthusiam waned.

I purchased the Withings Activite Pop mainly to track my steps. However this isn't just a tracker, but a watch, has a great vibration alarm that you set from the App, will track my sleep patterns (not positive how accurate, but seems pretty close), is water resistant so I can shower or swim with it, and with an update that should be out soon, it will also track swimming and they are looking into possibly adding cycling. I like that you don't have to charge it every day (like some trackers) and it's inconspicuous. You can also compete with your friends through the Withings app. So glad I bought it! Now I just need to buy the different colored bands. :)

Positives... Easy Bluetooth downloading to health app. Accurate step count. Monitors sleeping without having to "activate it for sleep mode." Long battery life. Water resistant. Data from Withings weight scale and BP cuff all go together into health app.
Negatives... Not digital watch face. No date for day to day use. Not backlit. The watch "notification buzzer" is not forceful enough to always awake me from sleeping.

I love my Withings Activite, but there are some things I wish it did better. First I love it because it is a watch that tracks my steps and sleep without having people wonder whats on my wrist all the time. Plus it is stylish and I love changing the bands (super easy). Now for my issues with it...it does not seem to recognize my laps when I swim as well as I wish. It will track my swimming as walking, but not nearly to the level I wish it did. Also when I am laying down reading before I go to bed sometimes it tracks me as sleeping....which I guess means it is tracking how relax I am? I am still a little confused, but overall I would definitely get another one if something happened to this one.

I bought this because I bought the Withings scale and I wanted my step data to integrate seamlessly. I wear the Garmin Vivofit on my other wrist. The pop is stingy with steps but that only makes me feel like I deserve them more. Integration with app is painless. People who like to see numbers should look elsewhere... This watch has a "dial" hand that makes it look more like a watch and less like a fitness tracker. It also has no backlight or glowing dial hands so this is a negative. The upside is the battery lasts months with no charging needed. It also automatically tracks sleeping which I haven't had since my "Bodymedia" days. I'm very satisfied with purchase but like every device I've ever owned, there is room for improvement.

The withings watch is an awesome semi smart watch if you can call it that!!! It doesn't have a heart rate moniter but the app uses the flash on your phone. It trakcs your steps and can tell if your working out or just waking. The watch has to to pretty close to the phone to sync if it's not right next to it, it may not sync. Over all they watch is good and not having to worry about charging it every couple of days since it last 8 months is a plus, it's low powered and uses a watch battery.

I got this fitness tracking watch because it can track my steps and still look like a watch. Sleep tracking is a nice added feature. It is a nice looking basic fitness tracker. I have not had the opportunity to try the swimming tracker.
I would highly recommend this watch to anyone that wants to track there fitness and not have a a bulky smart watch.
The only slight negative i can give it is the how often the app syncs with the watch. I have to go into the app every night before bed to make sure it synced with the watch.

I have owned UP24, Polar and Shine devices. They are all somewhere in the house collecting dust. Keeping it real, this is by far the best, and the best kept secret. I don't have the scientific devices to assure it's accuracy, but it certainly tracks my intuition accurately. Excellent sleep and activity tracking; love not having to plug-in with battery and bluetooth connection, timepiece is modern and doesn't look/feel out of place; waterproof, so I don't worry about it in the shower; app is very good, and improving. 5+ stars to Withings for the product; too bad they don't do better with marketing.

I have had various fitbits, lost few, had several die after getting wet during a workout. A friend had a Withings, and I liked the fact that it is a watch plus tracker. It tracks steps and sleep, plus it is water resistant so I can wear it when I swim laps (haven't had the chance to try that yet). I do wish it had a function that would light the face in the dark, can't see it if I wake up in the middle of the night.

I love that this is a watch first and a tracker second. It easily syncs with my phone and the tracks my sleep and steps. One time it did track my dancing as swimming, but it was ok. I like that the App syncs with My fitness pal for my calories. The best part is I have lost 5lbs in 30 days just by staying within my daily calorie count and meeting or exceeding my step goal. The watch is comfortable and easy to clean and I never have to take it off to charge it or plug it into a computer. I also have the Withings Scale to help me reach my goals and like it as much as I like the watch.

I was under the impression that I would be able to set the goal dial to count steps or distances based on the write up. It only counts steps, which is OK, but the distance number is more important to me at this time. It seems to be keeping the step count good, and I have been motivated to walk as a result of the goal dial. The app works well with the other apps that I am using to help reach my health goals. The sleep function seemed to be working well at the beginning, but lately it has not caught all my sleep time right. It is doing the job that I bought it for. I like the round watch face, but it is a bit bigger than I expected. I enjoy not having to worry about recharging the battery for several months.
I have not tried it in the pool, so I can not comment on how it works on tracking swimming workouts, but I have no trouble with getting it wet while showering or doing dishes.

This is everything I really want in a watch. Using the phone to calibrate and change time zones. Tracking sleep and steps is a nice bonus in this great looking timepiece.
It is comfortable to wear and simply a slightly smarter watch. I enjoyed my few months with it so much that I sold it and purchased the more expensive original. Totally sold on this design and functionality. Highly recommended - if you can afford the $450 version opt for that though. Both are great, but the original was a much more premium watch.

Love this watch! The step tracker is very accurate. The alarm is a pulsing vibration that is gentle yet enough to wake you up. I have not had a problem with using the watch as my only alarm. The sand color goes with almost anything, but if you want to change it up you can get a 3 pack (orange, plum, and teal) of bands from Withings. I've had the watch on in the shower, pool, and hottub with problems to it. The only issue is when you leave it on for several days at a time it may start to irritate the skin. If that happens just take it off at night and you should be good to go the next morning

As an employee at best buy, I've got to say, this watch has surprised me. It's a very nice stylish watch and work great. I love the fact that it is waterproof, has an alarm, and the battery life is insanely long. Most fitness watches only have a battery life of 7 days before you have to recharge. This battery last about 8 months.
