Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Activité Pop Activity Tracker Watch's sleep, step, and battery life tracking capabilities, as well as its design and water resistance. Many appreciate its ease of use and accuracy, though some find the smaller size less ideal. However, customers are negative about the lack of a backlight, occasional syncing issues, and the watch's susceptibility to scratches. Concerns were also raised regarding the watch's timekeeping accuracy.

This product and their customer service was the pits. Battery ran down within 3 months no where near how long they promised. The sent me a new one and it didn't last a year. Just got a Fitbit.

    Lacking some key watch features

Some complain it looks too much like a Swatch. I wish it looked more like a Swatch. If it had a second hand and showed the date this thing would be perfect. I would gladly sacrifice the activity meter for either of those features. The activity meter is pretty pointless as you can't set your daily goal over 15,000 steps, which isn't that many if you run on the daily. Without a second hand the only way for me to check my heartrate is to wait for the minute hand to move. Seems like a sportswatch without a dedicated hr monitor should at least have a second hand. If Withings comes out with a chronograph version or something I will totally upgrade. I also wish it had a light so I could see the time at night. But it looks fly and works well so it's overall pretty awesome.

    Good Fitness device, lousy watch

I received the Activite Pop today: my goal was to have fitness device that I could wear as a watch, and like it. But, there are some problems as a watch: 1) it is smallish, probably only about 35mm (not sure, as I did not take it out of the box), 2) there is no Lume on the hands so you can not read it in the dark, and 3) the domed crystal (mineral will scratch). Since they advocate wearing it at night when I sleep, I want to read it when I sleep.

Activity tracking good, time tracking poor

    Posted .

Sleep tracking and step tracking works well and matches other devices used in parallel. Do not rely on this device as a watch. You probably bought it to be used as a watch that can track activity, but it is an activity tracker that will provide you with a vague indication of what the current time might be. I purchased one for myself and one for my wife and we have been using them for about two months. Mine loses about 3 minutes per day so I recalibrate the watch once a week. My wife has to recalibrate hers once a day to get back to 15-20 minute time loss. If you want a nice looking activity tracker that doesn't look like a stupid rubber strap on your wrist, this is the device for you. If you want a watch that provides activity tracker functions, you should get used to being late.

    Very good but needs work

I like the watch. I like that it tells the time without daily charging and that it has a fairly accurate view of my activity and sleep. HOWEVER, they need to add two small features to make this a great device: 1. Illumination. Whether they paint the dial or put in a light, they need to make this watch visible in low to no light. 2. Date. While I love having a simple watch face, I do think it would be hugely beneficial to have a simple date like any other decent analog watch would have. If they could fix those two annoying problems, I would give this five stars for doing what it does well.

    Wanted to love it.

I love the fact that this looks like a watch and is dressy enough for work. I was really disappointed that it was almost too small for my 8" wrist. Then it was tracking only about half the steps I was taking. I had to return it since it wasn't an accurate picture of my daily activity and for $150 dollars it should be at least close.

    Game changer!

I've owned a Fitbit and other activity trackers, As an active runner, cyclist and swimmer I love tracking all my metric and have been using a basic activity tracker to see what the rest of my day looks like (when not actively exercising). I love the Activit Pop! It's not some bulky or ugly band I wear on my wrist or attached to my hip. I like how slick it looks, how easy it synchs with the app and the vibrating alarm has lessened some tension between my wife and I when I get out of bed at 5AM on the weekends for a run or ride!

    Analog watch with more!

Big fan of the combo of analog design and activity tracking. Also thoroughly impressed with the customer service at Withings - I accidentally bumped my watch hard and the back popped off/it stopped working - they were very prompt about working with me to get a new one. I expect these to keep getting better and better.

    Was Excellent- For 2 Weeks

I was enjoying the simple analog tracking of my activity through the use of this device until last night. That is when I heard a small popping sound and when I looked down to my wrist at the Activite Pop there was a nice long crack in the glass forming right before my eyes. There was no contact with anything external that could have caused this. The only thing that I can guess would be that the glass face was not set properly into the bezel. Very Disappointing quality, I should have spent extra on their premium Activite Watch.

My battery on lasted 3 months much shorter than they say. I paid a professional to change The battery like they recommended and he pointed out that the watch was not waterproof to me. Then it got wet and stop working well together. But the company has so many returns that they almost have a totally smooth process when you have to return your watch I'm not sure that's a good thing. But I do like the app and I like that is a Activity monitor that looks like a regular watch. If I would just starting out I would tell myself to get the pretty model a skip the model that supposed to be waterproof.

Watch face cracked after a few months

    Posted .

I bought this watch about five months ago and today I noticed that the watch face is cracked. Online reviews I read before my purchase had stated that watches which came in a box with blue dot on them (as mine did), would not have the face plate cracking problem. Evidently those reviews were wrong. I did not bang the watch against anything, or drop it, and there is no logical reason why the face plate should have cracked.

    Horrible Quality

I had the same problem as another reviewer. The watch worked just fine for 1 week, then I suddenly heard a noise and the glass broke in two. There are some clear manufacturing issues here. The watch can't be used anymore.

    Inaccurate and disappointing

    Posted .

PROS: Looks like a normal watch CONS: Inaccurate step measurement. Doesn't record steps at all unless you are swinging your arms widely. Inaccurate sleep measurement. Doesn't measure daytime sleep at all, and assumes if you get up at all during the night, you are done sleeping, even if you go on to sleep a few more hours. Yes, it takes a standard watch battery, but you need to take it to a WATCHMAKER to change the battery. Good luck finding one of those (maybe next door to the cobbler and the candlemaker?)

    Very slow/poor customer service

I received Withings Activity watch the first part of this month and all was well for about two weeks when the batterie failed. I attempted to replace the batterie but was unable to snap the back into place. After many days they sent a new back that didn't work either. I emailed them about my problem but that was 5 days ago but still no reply. I feel that I have wasted $450.00. I am very disappointed with Withings customer service.

    Buyer Beware

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Dont waste your money on this watch. I went through 2 replacements due to battery and moisture issues and each time dealing with customer service for withings was like pulling teeth. They wont acknowledge the real problem which is the design flaws with the watch. You have to take it to a jeweler or special watch battery person to get your battery replaced and even then its a struggle to get back together correctly. If you plan to use the alarm it will drain the battery twice as fast as it advertises the life of the battery to be and the syncing function is too clunky. if you want a good activity tracker that looks like a real watch there are far better options out there with great quality and customer service behind there product...garmin, suunto, polar, apple and so on!

Poor quality and super slow customer service.

It's unbelievable bad quality. And when I want to return the watch, the customer service is super super slow and set a lot block. They don't have a phone number or online service, just a request email system. And they even don't offer the return method. DON'T WASTE MONEY!
