The device is simple to setup and simple to use. It take readings quickly and appears to be accurate. The additional Withings plus app unlocks many additional data stats other then just simple blood pressure and allows the readings to be displayed in a trend chart that can be sent to the doctor.

Love the BPM Vision. The display is large and easy to read. My readings are more accurate than using the BP Connect. I believe I will need the XL cuff as I have arms that are a little Over 17" in diameter. Probably why the BP Connect gave me incorrect measurements.

I like how this does not take batteries and you only have to recharge it once a year. Also it is very accurate. I took it with me to my doctor's appointment to compare a reading with their machine. When we used mine it was within 1 point on the reading of the machine they used. I would highly recommend this machine.

It’s easier than Withings BPM Connect to switch between users and also easier to follow instruction. It seem more accurate in reading as well.

Easy to use and no issues hooking up to the app. Readings given very similar to my doctors office reading from the day before I received the machine. Thought could be cheaper price though so purchased when on sale

I received my Withings BPM-Vision (BPM) recently. The blood pressure cuff I had all along – although from a different company – had been working just fine. My motivation for getting a replacement unit was to get a monitor that was slimmer and easier to tote around during my travels. I also wanted a solution that had an app that was well integrated with BT and Wi-Fi. Previous products I’ve owned didn’t communicate well with their associated Apps. Upon receiving this unit, I gave it a full charge using the included USB Type-C cable and a personally owned charger. Note that this unit does not have a charger included with it. Differentiating itself from my old pressure cuff, this unit comes with rechargeable batteries. All previously owned pressure cuffs all required replaceable batteries. During the Withings’ charging cycle, I installed its associated App (from the Google Play Store), followed by creating a required username and password. The App itself is nicely designed and did a nice job of walking me through all required steps during the setup process. I found the whole process to be fairly simple. iPhone users can locate this App in the Apple Play Store. It was during the setup process that I encountered a one-time glitch. Once I had the App and BPM talking to each other, I was able to successfully check my blood pressure. I tried checking my BP a second time about 5 minutes later only to be prompted by the App letting me know that I needed to redo the setup/installation process as though I hadn’t completed it just minutes earlier. So, I did the installation process again and everything has been fine since. I’ve used the Withings BPM a number of times since the installation. I’ve regularly compared the unit’s results against my older non-Withings unit. In each comparison, I do one test on one arm, wait a couple of minutes, then do a separate test on my other arm with the old unit. The Withings unit consistently reports slightly higher by 5-7 points. For instance, the Withings unit reports a blood pressure of 117/78. In turn, the older unit reports 110/76. This variance has been consistent throughout my testing. What does it mean? Probably not much. I can take my BP with the same unit every 20 minutes and keep getting different results. The disparity in BP reporting isn’t clear as the older non-Withings unit could be under-reporting the results. According to Withings, however, the FDA cleared Withings metrics for Diastolic, Systolic, and Heart Rate. When doing a BP test using the Withings unit, you have a choice of doing a 1-time test or a 3-time test – the latter being called Triple Trust. A 1-time test inflates and deflates the cuff one time to gauge your BP. A Triple Trust does the inflate/deflate process three times to come up with a more accurate and reliable blood pressure reading and is the recommended approach by many doctors. The Triple Trust has a pause in between inflation/deflation cycles. By default, it is a 1-minute pause. When testing your blood pressure, you have a choice of doing a 1-time check or what Withings calls a Triple Trust. A 1-time check does exactly that: it inflates and deflates the cuff once to get a reading. The Triple Trust inflates and deflates the cuff, pauses for 60 seconds (the default pause), then re-inflates and deflates, pauses for another minute, and then performs the inflate/deflate action a third time. If you don’t prefer the 60-second pause between inflate/deflate actions, the smallest pause you can change it to is 30-seconds. You can increase the pause from 60-seconds to 90- or 120-seconds. Not everyone’s arms are built the same. The cuff that comes with the BPM fits small to large arms, 9-17-inch. If you need a larger cuff, the X-large 17-20.5-inch version is sold separately. The BPM consists of the Cuff (the piece that goes around your arm) and the Monitor, which the cuff connects to. The Monitor is also where all the smarts are found. The face of the Monitor has a clearly identifiable On/Off button, a nice size high-resolution LCD screen, and 3 selector buttons. Start the unit by pressing the On/Off button on the Monitor. Then use the upper and lower selector buttons to move between available options. Once the desired option is in the middle of the LCD screen, use the middle button to select it. I do like the Withings BPM unit, and I believe it is a well thought out product. My only issue is the positioning of the three selector buttons which are adjacent to the LCD screen. Here’s why: The LCD is completely black unless it is showing information. The selector buttons are cut into the LCD screen on its right side. Since I often take my BP when the room is lightly illuminated, I can’t see the selector buttons. I end up having to rub my hand across the LCD screen to locate the selector buttons. A big deal? Hardly! It’s a small annoyance!. A few wrap up points: • The unit comes with a rechargeable battery that will keep a charge for 1-year. • You can generate Shareable PDF report for sharing with others • The unit can support up to 8 users • HSA/FSA eligible As I noted before, I like this Withings Blood Pressure Monitor. And in that vein, I am giving it a 5-star review.
